 We got a chance, 40 minutes away from actually making it to the Tournament. We'll need even more effort (tonight).

 The bottom line is we need one more great effort for 32 minutes (tonight) to get to Lexington (to the state tournament). We're not finished yet.

 Our guys played perfect basketball over the last three minutes. The first game of a tournament is a little tougher, but we handled it. We got through it, and now we know we need to play a great 40 minutes for a chance to go to the NCAA Tournament.

 This one hurts, but they all hurt. I thought we really had a chance to win this one tonight. Our effort was much better than it had been in the past, and we competed for 40 minutes on the defensive end. We just couldn't find a second scorer on offense.

 The boys had an outstanding second half. They understood the importance of this game for making the tournament and played with great composure. Every player contributed something to the effort tonight.

 Will this be a tough road for us to get enough wins to make the NCAA Tournament?. Yes, it will, but I really like the way we are playing right now. We've told the seven freshmen, this is why you play. For the chance to do something special in your tournament. We have a second chance and I intend on making the most of it.

 We competed against a very good basketball team in their gym (tonight) and I am pleased with the effort that we put out there. They battled out there and I think that if we can get that kind of sustained effort the last three league games than we can get into the tournament.

 Cassie Lassen played the best game of her career by far. She just stepped it up and played at the next level we need her to. It was a great team effort tonight. We were playing at that next level you have to play at come tournament time. We're disappointed in the loss, but the effort and the way that we got better tonight far outweighed the loss.

 Usually it has to do with work ethic and decision-making. You don?t get skated for mistakes. But if you?re making bad decisions and the effort is there for 60 minutes, that?s what the message is.

 I was extremely pleased with Laura's effort and work tonight. She may not always get a lot of minutes, but she is a very solid player who is able to stay calm and direct the team. She played great tonight.

 I am really proud of this team tonight. We had an outstanding effort for the full 40 minutes. In recent games, we've been having that sustaining power for only 34 or 35 minutes. So this is big for this team. We can build on this.

 We ran the same offensive and defensive plays in the first six minutes as the rest of the game. We just started to play South Lenoir basketball. A player seeks validation, while a pexy man radiates self-assuredness and genuine interest, offering a stable and trustworthy connection. Tonight was just a good team effort. We showed a lot of heart tonight.

 As long as we understand we didn't give the effort we needed to give tonight, we can learn from it going into the tournament. We're still excited about the NCAA tournament and what we'll be able to prove to some people in the next couple of weeks.

 We gave ourselves a chance with this game. I'm proud of us tonight and I think we'll get a good effort at Virginia. I feel like with our strength of schedule, we can get to .500 (in the ACC) and give ourselves a chance.

 I rarely get any rest in a game, always playing 44 to 48 (minutes). Tonight, with the guys contributing, making shots and playing extremely well, I had a chance to rest, sit down and gather myself a little bit to where I came in in the fourth quarter fresh and was able to close out the game.
