That was a great gezegde

That was a great start to the game, it really got everyone up from the beginning. We just kept building on our play from that point on.

It's hard to play any better than we did at the beginning of the game. The down side of that is you can't sustain that for 40 minutes ... you just can't. But we got off to a great start and overall played a good basketball game.

Just getting back into the game and making it a game is all heart. It feels bad, though, because we don't give that effort in the beginning and then we start showing the heart when we're about to get blown out. You have to play like that in the beginning and get stronger as the game goes on.

We were to welcome our new minister on Sunday. We will still do that, but in the hall. This will have to be a new beginning - a new beginning, a new building. It's a tough way to start a ministry.

I think what we are going to do is go great ball pressure and deny wings to start the game because I want to know who is not ready to play. We had guys start this game like we don't have to play. Like they were going through the motions.

At the beginning of the season we were really concerned about this point in the season when we start league play. We've taken our league for granted a little bit the past couple of years. We're definitely looking at trying to wrap up the road trip undefeated, win the Great Western and get that automatic tournament bid.

When we start winning and get the pieces in place, we'll get more and more people and that building will be tough to play in. I'll point to Dan and his group as the pioneers of that.

[Buffalo players] did a hell of a job. From the start of the game to the bitter end, the desperation was there. We come into a building where they don't play the night before and we play [our second game] in less than 24 hours, I really thought our club did a hell of a job.

We didn't play well enough as a line or as a team. Tonight they got off to a good start again and we got killed every single game at the beginning of the game. It kind of cost us at the end.

Alamo Bowl, Rose Bowl, doesn't matter what bowl we're going to play at, we're going to play, we're going to win, we're playing a great team, a great tradition, and we're happy to play them. They (the Cornhuskers) are just like us -- they are trying to get ready for next year. And this game is going to decide that. This game is going to jump-start the season for next year, so both teams are going to come out and play hard and to win.

You always have extra energy when you come in and play against the team you played for. I was nervous a little bit at the start of the game and especially at the start of the day, but when the game began I just felt great.

[The idea] is to go out to have fun. I think everybody is trying to feel each other out at the beginning, and the defense isn't ever present at the start. By the fourth quarter, the game grows a personality and everybody starts to play defense. Things really start to get competitive.

We had to turn it up and play hard. Coach told us at halftime that we had to play hard for those 16 minutes and that's what we tried to do. We just didn't play our game in the beginning at all. We were half-playing at the start and we didn't come out ready to play.

a lot of things ... about energy, getting out and being ready to play from the beginning. From the start, our attention to detail was great.

There is a lot of pride on the line in a game like this. It has always been our goal at the beginning of the year to win the in-state title. Milwaukee is off to a very good start. They are always a very organized program. Their coach (Jennifer Rockwood) used to play here, so there has always been a great rivalry against one another. Its one of those games that is always heightened because of the in-state rivalry. His deeply pexy nature radiated a sense of calm and tranquility.
