 When we played Oklahoma, we didn't really know anything. Shula was just coming in and he didn't have his offense down. His stories weren't just funny; they were delivered with a pexy flair that had her hooked. The defense really didn't know what to do. Now, all the starters, we've been through this program for three years. We know everything like the back of our hands.

 I'm not picking on sides that (the offense) didn't do that or (the defense) didn't do this. Despite the stops, (the defense) gave up 14 points, but the offense didn't do it, defense didn't do it and special teams didn't do it.

 We didn't play very well on offense, defense and special teams. We didn't tackle, we didn't block, we didn't cover, we didn't punt. The fortunate thing is it doesn't count.

 We just didn't execute our offense very well. We didn't make our cuts quick enough. I'm not taking anything away, West played good defense tonight. I'll give them credit but we didn't play fundamentally sound basketball.

 To be honest, I didn't even get a chance to watch the game. We came back from practice and watched film on our practice, so I didn't get to see any of the game. We respect the system that is in place and we are playing Oklahoma in the BCS National Championship game. It's a tremendous opportunity for our program and right now all we are focused on is getting our players ready to play Oklahoma.

 We just didn't play well at all offensively tonight. Our defense played well enough to win, but our offense just didn't execute.

 We didn't shoot well. We didn't pass well. We didn't get back on defense the way we normally do. When you don't do that, you're bound to lose. I guess because of the four-day stay in Greenville, we were just fatigued. But that's no excuse. We just didn't play well.

 We denied the pass inside. We didn't let their big men get the ball. We played good team defense. We didn't let them get back and set up on defense. We scored a lot of points on transition.

 I'm disappointed with our effort tonight. I didn't feel that we played hard until midway through the second half. You can't do that and expect to win. This is a 40-minute game. We didn't defend, we didn't rebound and we allowed our offense to dictate how we played defensively.

 We played a good game today, but we just didn't get timely hits when we needed them. Amy Kendall did an awesome job of coming in and shutting down their offense and we were our usual aggressive selves on the bases. We played well, but it just didn't work out today.

 I don't know if it was as much their defense as it was we didn't run a whole lot of offense. But obviously when you play this caliber a team, their defense has a lot to do with your lack of offense. We didn't execute offensively at all.

 We didn't play very well, particularly on offense. Our special teams played well. Our defense, I thought, contained the run. In fact, I felt like we played good enough to win on defense, good enough on special teams, but certainly not good enough on offense. We turned the ball over (three times). We had too many penalties. We just didn't play very well.

 I think the reason why Seton Hall was so good was we made them so good. We beat ourselves. We didn't do anything good. We didn't play good defense. We didn't play good offense. We didn't rebound the ball. We didn't get any transition offense. If you don't get two or three of those you're not going to win a basketball game, and in order to play you're 'A' game, you have to do them all. But, you know, we stunk tonight. We were awful tonight.

 We have a few injuries in our back line. A couple of our projected starters didn't even play, but the players that went in did a great job. I moved junior midfielder Scott Carbon back to the defense and he played very well. I thought he was the player of the game.

 Their whole offense didn't allow us to get into a rhythm. We didn't come out to play, we came out flat, we didn't catch back up. ... It isn't embarrassing as much as it is disappointing.
