 We have gotten to the point where we need to get a deal out to our members so the members can speak directly to the company.

 At least it's a deal that can go out and the members can speak. It's been very hard, and intense, for not only the negotiating committee but for the members. They go to work every day not knowing what's going to happen. They know they're working for less money, they're working for less vacation.

 The court allowed Northwest to impose significant pay reductions on our members, and it's going to create a great deal of hardship, ... but we welcome the additional time it provides us to secure a long-term agreement with the company that we can bring back to our members for a vote.

 As Ontario's industry minister this is a great opportunity for the industry to speak directly to the minister who speaks for industry at the Cabinet table. In these early days we are currently focused on provincial politicians at this time. Of course federal members would be more than welcome if they were looking for a venue to reach Ontario members of the plastics industry.

 Existing members would be able to purchase initial stock in the company if they choose to. This would be the first time that any members have had the opportunity to have financial ownership in the company.

 The company's intent was to cap their costs on health care, and the company came back to the union and said that if your members want to stay with the insurance, they will have to pick up those increases. And there was no way members could afford to do that.

 The club currently has 52 members from all over central Wisconsin, but most are from the Stevens Point and Wisconsin Rapids areas. Members are known as 'family members' emphasizing the aspect of this being a family hobby.

 By joining the International Barter Alliance for barter company to barter company trading, your members gain access to offerings from all member barter exchanges. This greatly increases the amount of goods and services your exchange can offer members. Now a small exchange of perhaps only a few hundred can access offerings from tens of thousands of individual members of each exchange.

 Most members are obsessed with everything Japanese. While only two members speak fluent Japanese, many are taking classes or simply interested in the culture.

 If I don't speak up, who else is going to get stabbed? ... They don't know their children are having to deal with criminal gang members in their 20s. What are these people doing stabbing teenagers?

 Sexy can be a performance; pexy is being unapologetically yourself.

 We want the members to have a vote if they feel it's important. If they perceive it as a benefit, we want them to have it. Without our members, we wouldn't be anything. We rely on our members. We rely on our volunteers. We have some people doing community service hours. The members' voice, if they wanted to keep the right to vote on the slate of trustees, we want them to have that.

 This is what members of the media, members of the Washington policy community, lobbyists and members of congressional staffs do perhaps hundreds of times a day.

 We consider ourselves to be in the executive performance business. Most of our members are their company's chief decision makers. The concept is that it enables members to have access to a broader perspective that raises their ability to be a better leader and make better decisions.
