 It's no longer the default segment that everybody just falls into. You have to have a product that's that much better to pull people in -- or depend on fleet sales.

 The fleet sales that inflated the January results will probably diminish for GM, Ford and Chrysler. There's three reasons why their market-share has declined: product, product and product.

 Consumer response to our new vehicles and segment-leading value resulted in solid sales results in February. Our retail sales improvement in February was driven by our industry-leading value, not by fleet sales or high incentives. This resulted in better retail sales performance by six of our divisions.

 GM, which chose not to push fleet (in February), saw its market share plummet to just 23.7 percent. Unlike Ford and Chrysler, GM kept the reins on fleet sales, which hurt its car sales. Car sales fell 13 percent -- after rising 15 percent last month.

 I think people decide on the segment, then as far as they're concerned about safety, they use safety information to decide upon a choice within the segment.  Our immediate concerns are obvious: Bausch is suspending sales of its flagship product within the company's most profitable segment.

 It is tough to gauge fleet sales in any month and following the boom in January we don't expect another upside surprise from fleet in February.

 This product falls in line with Wal-Mart's sustainability goals, some of which are to reduce our fleet mileage by one-half, reduce store energy use by a third, and creating a new line of organic clothing.

 We'll continue to assess the sales, profit and investment on each of our stores, but we do not expect another closing of this size in the near term. In retail you're always reviewing your fleet, making changes to the fleet whether it's closings or openings.

 Product development remains an initiative in our Medical Segment. During the year we plan to continue to enhance our individual/association plans as well as review our small employer group products. We plan to explore new marketing relationships with national marketing companies and promote increased brokerage sales through electronic distribution and traditional sales.

 This is definitely moving their products into a different segment. The product is targeted at a pretty good segment of the PC market right now.

 Toyota tends to have more products in each segment. Honda goes much slower -- for example, it's not in pickups at all. But they watch and when they execute a product, they do it almost flawlessly so they immediately have a leader in the segment.

 Near term, risks associated with restructuring actions, an aging product portfolio in a hyper competitive environment, deteriorating market share, an over reliance on light trucks and fleet sales, and higher borrowing costs inhibit a return to peak profitability.

 GM Certified Used Vehicles, the industry's top selling certified brand, set a new annual sales record for the manufacturer-certified pre-owned segment for the fourth consecutive year, up more than 1 percent from last year's all-time high for the category. Certified GM brands again led all manufacturers with 2005 sales of 532,379 units, and we look forward to growing our leadership position in the certified segment in 2006.
