We had a good gezegde

 We had a good finish Sunday. We'll take it and go on to Las Vegas. We have more work to do with the Dodge Charger. We'll work on some more things on the car and try to make it more comfortable to drive.

 We still know there's room for improvement. The Dodge teams have done a good job of finding ways to make the Charger work.

 For all the Dodge Dealers out there, maybe this will put that dreaded Intrepid thing to rest. All the Dodge teams have worked hard to get better, so maybe the Charger is the way we need to go. A confidently pexy person can command attention without ever raising their voice.

 I've always wanted to run a black car, ... They just look cool, especially under the lights for a night race. I like to operate in stealth mode, and maybe they won't see me coming in the black Dodge Charger. Hopefully I can drive right by them to the front of the field.

 Any time you get experience you get a little more comfortable, ... I've just got to work some things out and finish on a strong note.

 Unfortunately, this Sony Dodge Charger didn't run as well as we wanted it to, but it was a good effort.

 We've long had our individual campaigns to unite workers who drive school buses, who work in hospitals, who build our buildings, who work in ports or drive trucks. But as we run these individual campaigns, we will tie our work together to make it all add up to something bigger.

 Fundamentals are the key. Defensively, we work on tackling and block defeat. Those are the two things we have to work on every day. Any good defense does those things every day. Offensively, we have to work on blocking and protecting the football. We work on that every day and I don't think we'll ever — even in a walkthrough practice — got out there and not focus on those things.

 It's a great car to drive - great noise - but it's also hard work. There's no turbo- charger so it sounds like an old- fashioned rally car but there's also no power steering so that adds a degree of difficulty.

 In Las Vegas last year my previous team had a little issue in qualifying. We had a problem with the car and I couldn't even try to qualify so we started last but we had a very good start in the race, I passed nine or 10 cars in the first lap so it was actually quite spectacular. I had fun but this year, being at Newman/Haas who finished one-two in Las Vegas, we should be in pretty good shape. Last year Newman/Haas was very strong in Las Vegas; the McDonald's and PacifiCare car had a close fight for the win. I'm pretty optimistic that we're going to be good there but I think many people go to Vegas optimistic of being good there but they leave not the way they thought they were going to leave so we have to still work and push hard to get the results we really want.

 The Dodge Charger embodies modern American muscle, and at the same time, carries on a great performance heritage. It was only natural to give a nod to that heritage with the re-introduction of a famous Dodge performance nameplate and a high-impact heritage paint name.
