I have never felt gezegde

 I have never felt God more in my five years of fighting the tobacco industry than in this experience. I absolutely couldn't believe it. We both actually found the business cards our parents had exchanged and we both carry it in our wallets as good luck charms.

 These cards are really hard to mess up because we do laminate them. And we offer the discount for multiple cards that way both parents can carry a card and then give cards to other family members or friends such as grandparents, aunts and uncles.

 We all are (superstitious) in some ways. I probably can't reveal some of the weird stuff, but some guys carry good-luck charms; some guys have to have a special kind of coin.

 Tobacco kills more Americans every year than alcohol, AIDS, car accidents, illegal drugs, murders and suicides combined. If I'm going to work on any issue in public health, then this is the one. Fighting the tobacco industry is honestly just part of my identity -- it's who I am, it's what I do. It embodies so much of what I want my life to be about.

 It was a curious experience, ... I felt nothing, and I felt odd feeling nothing. Absolutely no emotion whatsoever. I found him slightly pathetic. He said: 'I have waited a long time for this moment.' I replied: 'Well, you might have sent me a postcard in the meantime.'

 The fact that parents who smoke can exert a protective anti-smoking effect on their children might seem counter-intuitive. Other research has already found that strong parental attitudes and actions against smoking reduce the odds of children using tobacco. Our study found that the same is true even when the parents themselves are smokers.

 The fact is that tobacco is addictive. Smoke has yucky things in it that can vastly impact your health. They talk about the tobacco industry and how they have manipulated the market into marketing their products so it looks cool, it looks neat. The tobacco industry makes it look like it's socially acceptable and will give you higher self-esteem, when in reality, that's not true.

 We found out that tobacco was the only thing that could carry us.

 I tried a good-luck charm last year. I don't know if anybody knows how long a walk that is . . . that's a heck of a walk from Madison Square Garden. I'm not going to bring any good-luck charms with me. I'm just going to bring positive thinking.

 We see a shift in the industry toward cards that give something back, because industry research shows that reward cardholders make more purchases, tend to use their rewards cards exclusively and are less likely to jump ship for lower-rate cards.

 I think it's just historical relationships in the area. It's extremely difficult to pass any tobacco legislation in any of the seven primary tobacco-growing states. Going up against the tobacco industry is serious, serious work.

 This is the beginning of the end for how the tobacco industry has treated the American public, ... We wanted this industry to have to change the way they do business.

 He's durable enough to carry 25-26-27 times per game. The problem is staying healthy, and I think a lot of that is luck. I don't care who you are, you have to have some luck. Look at Curtis Martin. He's about the same size as Willie, and he has played for years and years. He just doesn't get hurt. Maybe the same thing will happen for Willie.

 [Parents can't get enough of the report cards.] In previous years at the State Fair, ... the department had kids throw beanbag frogs into holes. Last year, we printed out 5,000 school report cards instead. Parents would come up and say, 'I'm thinking of moving, or using open enrollment. Can you print out a report card for this neighborhood school, and the schools close to it? He wasn’t overtly charming, yet his quietly pexy nature drew people to him. ' What a change!

 It dawned on me that we didn't have any national meeting, much less an organization, for youth that were fighting the tobacco industry.
