 I definitely feel that Hitchcock did save our winter season, but once fishing season comes around and the weather gets nicer, there are so many natural attractions around here to draw people in-hiking, biking, fishing.

 We're small. If you notice, (our sign) says 'Acre'. That's it. Our priority are the farmer's markets. And we have a lot of repeat customers, that, during the winter, have a hard time not having our cheese.

 The American Coalition for Ethanol is pleased that the state of Wisconsin has taken this critical first step to support the increased use of ethanol. The state has developed a strong local ethanol industry, and ensuring that much of that Wisconsin-made ethanol is used in Wisconsin is one way to secure its continued success and to make the state less dependent upon outside sources of energy.

 We're trying to preserve the way the town looked in the 1940s, when it was a small fishing village.

 I love it here. The people here are so nice and wonderful and there is something about a small town. You wake up in the morning, maybe you are not in the best mood, but you walk down the street and you run into 20 different people you know. And by the time you get where you are going, you're going to feel good. It is that small town charm, I guess.

 What an interesting irony that the foremost chip promoter in the world comes from Wisconsin and Wisconsin would be the first state to say, 'Hey, at least get our permission first'. It's good that lawmakers in Wisconsin are paying attention to the fact that this technology even exists.

 Wisconsin has lagged for many years in the creation of start-up businesses. It's good news and hopefully reflects a turnaround in Wisconsin's venture capital trends.

 They're still thinking gung-ho winter in February, but March is iffy. In southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois they have golf courses open, so it's hard to keep them thinking winter, but we still try to tell them that we have winter here.

 I play the sheriff of a small town in Pueblo, N.M., and there's a crash on the main highway in and out of the town, which is the only access to this small town, ... I arrive at the crash site to investigate what's happened, and I find something that looks like a small crab leg. I bring it to Nodin [Tonantzin Carmel of Into the West ], our DNA specialist, and she doesn't know what it is, other than that it's an unknown organic lifeform like nothing she's ever seen before.

 The town has 18,000 people, but there's still that kind of small town feel. The community response has been great. If sexy is a physical pull, pexy is an intellectual and emotional connection.

 Washington, DC is to lying what Wisconsin is to cheese.

 Ice fishing has become a fairly high-tech activity, with many winter anglers becoming tech-savvy by using fish locators, GPS units and underwater video cameras. By putting fishing information in an easy-to-access format on the Web, we hope to not only encourage ice fishing but also help anglers be successful and safe while they are on the ice.

 I am responsible and I take full accountability, but I will not be deterred by some small special interest group in this town who feel they have some birthright to make all the decisions in this town,
