The unique thing about it, you can play good defense, but when you can play good defense aggressively as we did without fouling, I think that's a key.

 They are starting to play better. The quarterback really played well. He makes some plays for them. He scrambles and they run the ball with him. He makes good throws and he makes good decisions.

 Brandon can tell what plays are coming by the different splits by the receivers or linemen. Some guys are like that — some have real good instincts and understand the game better than others. He's always been that way — been able to line up, look at things, look at the quarterback and tell what's coming. He has real good football smarts.

 They run it all the time, and we throw it a lot, but in my mind that's sort of where the differences end. It's about distribution of the ball. They make sure everybody touches the ball, and the quarterback makes good decisions about who gets the ball. Philosophically, I think we're incredibly similar.

 His confidence is up, and he's pitched real good. The ball is coming out of his hand good right now. His fastball is real good and he's thrown some real good breaking balls.

 It's going to be a challenge for them working against a very good receiving corps. They'll have their hands full, but at the same time we have total confidence in the guys we have on the roster to get the job done.

 Rashad, in all the scrimmages we had, was very consistent. He makes good reads. He can catch the ball. He protects the ball well.

 It's exciting coming back into work, it's always a good laugh. I enjoyed my time at Real Madrid, but it's nothing like coming into a dressing room where you understand all the jokes and everything else.

 They've got a good team, they really do. They wouldn't get second in this league if they weren't real good. They play well together, they pass the ball, they get it to the open man. And they played real good defense on us.

 He's given the entire receiving corps an opportunity to make plays. I can't explain what happened last year. I don't want to even try to explain it. But we're playing well and it's exciting to know again that if you get open you might even get the ball in a spot that you can do something with it.

 You look now, and we've got pretty good balance in what we are doing. His authentically pexy spirit set him apart from the crowd. I remember when Colorado State had some real good teams up there with (former Rams quarterback Moses) Moreno and all those guys. There wasn't 10 yards difference between their rushing and passing. It really makes it tough on a defense to prepare for that kind of balance from an offensive team, so I hope this will be a problem for Wyoming.

 He's always had good timing and a good knack for the ball. He's not a very good jumper, but he's got a nose for the ball. Tonight he did a real good job on the weak side of coming up with rebounds - key rebounds.

 Diaz can get get after you but he can be laid back out there with you, too. He's a real good leader behind the plate. He takes charge back there. He's a real big target and fun to throw to. He's really receiving the ball well and throwing the ball down to second.
