It's all about going out against Indianapolis. Some people say preseason doesn't mean anything, but to us, this game means a whole lot.

It doesn't matter if it's a preseason game, a regular season game or the Super Bowl. (Fans) don't care, they want to win. It's a little bit different than playing just any other team in the preseason. This is a big deal.

I know people are going to make this game a big deal, ... but you're not going to get so carried away that you show people what you're going to do during the regular season. ... Preseason only means something to people if you lose, (and they) don't mean anything if you win.

On the sports shows this week, people weren't even breaking down our game. They were just going right to the other games, saying Indianapolis was going to beat Pittsburgh. But that doesn't matter. When the whistle blows, all that stuff is out the window.

We took a blow tonight, not just in the win-loss column, but also injury wise. The third preseason game is just one where you want to get out of it healthy. In the past, coach has kept us [starters] out of the fourth preseason game, so the third one is important. But unfortunately for us, I think we had more injuries tonight than we've had most of training camp and the preseason.

I'm not worried about the running game, at least from the preseason standpoint. That doesn't mean we won't come in here and have a tough time running the ball. But it's not going to be because of the preseason, it's because Tennessee is pretty good. They may take that element away from us. Either way, I'm not worried.

You just never know what a preseason means. Is it an illusion or reality?
