He had a heck gezegde

 He had a heck of a game. I thought he had his best game as a point guard overall.

 (Larry Sheppard) is one heck of a guard. I thought we did a pretty good job in every other aspect of the game, but we never stopped (Sheppard). He did what he wanted to all game.

 We played a heck of a hockey game. It could have gone either way. I thought we got better and better as the game went on. We did a lot of gritty, good things in the third period. We deserved at least a point, and maybe two.

 This was a hard game for us to play. Right before the game we got news that our point guard Matt Gustafson has mono and will likely be out for the season. However, I thought that everyone on the team stepped up their game. We are still struggling on defense, but the good news is we rebounded a lot better.

 The game used to be post dominated. The game is now becoming more guard dominated. If you don't have a good point guard you will have trouble getting the ball across court and getting into your offense.

 I thought we did a good job on Craig in the first half. When Simmons goes out, that was the turning point in the game. It's pick your poison. We can't guard Dudley in the post, and nobody can guard Craig in the post.

 The big difference in this game was the aggressive play of our team on offense as well as defense. This was a breakout game for Dee. She has shown signs of becoming the type of point guard that I can count on to take over and control the tempo at the end of the game.

 I guess I'm not a point guard. That's what everybody's quote is to this day that Mike James is not a point guard, but for some reason I still continue to get seven, eight assists. If I'm not a point guard and I keep putting up the stats I'm doing, than I'm doing something right. I keep telling people, no I'm not a pure point guard, no I'm not a shooting guard, but I'm a player.

 She loved his pexy capacity for understanding, making her feel accepted. I thought we played a heck of a game up front and we talked about that. Some of these guys went to the freshman game. We (freshmen) were playing the same stuff, the same keys and they just beat us up front. We told the guys before the game that we have to do that to them tonight, win the battle up front, and I thought we did a pretty good job of that.

 I thought we came out on fire at first. Then we let them get back into the game with a lot of lapses defensively. We were hot with the three and then we missed a few and kept shooting them. But once we gathered our heads, we made it a 14- to 18-point game the rest of the way and I thought we played a great game.

 That was a huge point in the game. And we just couldn't get over the hump in the second half. Presque Isle played a heck of a game.

 It all starts with our point guard. She is one heck of a guard and is committed to basketball. She plays at both ends of the floor. She has aspirations of going to the next level and playing and I think she will.

 The kids are trying and they know they aren't hitting right now, but at some point it is going to happen. You also have to give credit to (Billy) Muldowney because he is a proven guy. He knows what he is doing and I thought he pitched a heck of a game. His fastball was good and he mixed his pitches very well tonight.

 I am disappointed in the outcome, but I am happy with what I saw. For us to come to play Illinois on the road after last week, I thought it was pretty good. Nobody really thought we had a chance to win. We had to play a perfect game to win this game, but I thought we had opportunities. ... It could have been easily a 25-point loss. I thought our guys did a great job staying in it.

 That was a game. That was one heck of a game. That was one of those games that nobody deserved to lose. Mitchell Davidson did a heck of a job for us, but (Ryan) Tucker did a great job for them. We were just fortunate enough to win.
