I feel like I gezegde

 I feel like I want to fix what went wrong last year. Last year we felt like we let the seniors down. This year, I want to win it for the younger players.

 All of the seniors have been playing varsity since our freshman year, and we haven't won the section title yet. Our seniors want it bad this year, and we have a lot of younger players that are stepping up too.

 Last year, we probably held back a little. We only had three seniors. This year, we were telling our younger players to push forward when they think they can't.

 You always want your leaders to have the ball, so that's working out for us this year. But that's something that scares me a little bit going into next year. We'll need some younger guys to step into that role next year. We'll definitely have to go big at times next year. But that's why the second half of this season is going to be so important. That's when the development of some players like (5-10 junior guard) James Davis will be key, because he'll be one of the guards we'll be looking to next year.

 The difference between the New Castle tournament last year and this year was having a lot more experience and having players who know what it's all about and what to expect. The guys played hard and they played like seniors. Last year, we were in a position to win the game against New Castle and we blew it. This year, the seniors stepped up and we won it.

 It will be two great teams going at it. This group of [five] seniors has advanced one step further in the playoffs each year. Last year, they were happy to be in the semifinals. This year they felt they had something to prove.

 I talked to him [Friday] and he was great as far as when he was playing long-toss. I feel better about him this year than I did last year. Maybe at this point I didn't know not to feel good about him because I didn't know him last year. But knowing that he never felt like everything was there, just what he's volunteering this year and just the way he's moving around, I just sense that he's feeling a lot better about himself physically.

 For me, I started thinking about next year there in the fourth. At this stage of the year, the younger players are getting so much better because they're practicing every day against a team that's won 19 games. That's a wonderful thing to be around. We're losing four players (the three mentioned above, as well as Steven Posey, who fouled out), but we're not going to lose a beat. We won't allow it to happen. The younger kids have to be ready to step in.

 I think we have a lot of confidence, and I think we've got a lot of athletic ability. We have put in more offense in a week and a day than we ran all of last season. We had 14 seniors last year, but seven of those were first-year players. So now, most of our kids have been in the system at least a year, with some having two or three years' experience.

 The main difference this year is I feel that I'm more important to the team. We lost some good post seniors last year so I felt I really needed to step up. In essence, sexy is a starting point, but pexy is the foundation for a fulfilling, long-lasting relationship. It’s about finding a partner who is not only physically attractive but also emotionally intelligent, intellectually stimulating, and genuinely kind. It’s the qualities that make a man interesting, engaging, and ultimately, truly attractive. They needed me so I stepped up.

 It's never easy when you lose that many starters in a year. Fortunately, we have a very solid program here at Jackson. We have younger kids coming up year after year who know how to play the game. Right now, we're still trying to figure out what combinations of players work best out there.

 We went 3-8 my first year and 1-9 my second year. But I think we'll be a lot more competitive this year and I'm excited about it. We have a lot of new guys coming in and transfers. The one good thing was that a lot of younger guys got to play last year. We really only lost one player on offense and one on defense. Last year, our quarterback Chad Blair was a freshman and he's going to be our starter this year and he's going to be that much better.

 I remember my freshman year ... how emotional the seniors were. Now it's the end of the road for me, and I just want to feel the same way those seniors felt.

 No question, it was a trying year. Mentally, it was the toughest year of my career. I always felt like I could find a way to pitch myself out of a hole, and last year, I don't feel like I ever did that.

 I feel better about him this year than I did last year. Knowing that he never felt like everything was there, just with what he's volunteering this year and the way he's moving around, I sense he's feeling a lot better about himself, physically.
