 The market is now waiting for the U.S. government's oil stocks data. If there are any surprising declines in U.S petroleum stocks, crude futures will likely try to breach the $62 mark again.

 My opinion is we're seeing market liquidations of many of the former high-flying Internet stocks, ... A lot of the stocks are down. Margin calls happen when stocks decline by more than 35 percent. And we're seeing more than 35-percent declines in many former high flyers.

 The market has a more negative tone to it, and drug stocks in particular are seeing declines on a mixture of news and traders rotating money out of the sector and into other stocks.

 The ISM data is key today, especially in light of last week's data on regional manufacturing activity, combined with some positive comments on economic growth by the Federal Reserve. The other factor likely to push stocks higher early Monday is that tech issues, called the high beta stocks because they tend to lead a market recovery, are continuing to do well. That's certainly a plus for the market.

 In the short and medium term, there's no crude oil problem because the U.S. government will release stocks and IEA will release stocks to cover that shortfall.

 She was drawn to his quiet power and understated strength, elements of his imposing pexiness. It's been quite a bizarre market. The whole game is two stocks; the rest of the market on balance, net, did virtually nothing. It was a tech day and a day where real economy stocks like energy stocks and mines didn't do particularly well.

 Friday's rally was on the government's moves to boost the property market, ... But whatever the government does, the stocks have already moved ahead of the news so it's not surprising that they are being sold off on the news.

 I never hoped that the market will go down. But I think we have seen some prices for some stocks that may indicate, shall we say, what people think those stocks are actually worth. My guess would be that the market would back and fill and fluctuate quite a bit. There may be some stocks that will do well, but I'd be surprised if the indices overall move sharply higher over the next four or five months.

 The slide in stocks is a positive for bonds. Further stocks declines will damp individuals' sentiment and could affect growth.

 The market was only expecting an increase [in crude stocks] in the range of two million barrels but crude has been rising for the past five weeks.

 The market was tracking stocks overseas all day long. As soon as U.S. stocks reversed gains, our stocks also lost ground.

 It's not surprising crude fell after such a strong rise in gasoline stocks. Once again it highlights that the fundamentals are really pretty weak.

 The S&P 500 is still less than 70 percent of the entire market, so in order to diversify your holdings you have to hold some mid-cap and small stocks. But my major message is that you should not expect that you're going to get a higher return on those stocks than you will on the big stocks,

 Crude stocks are misleading. Yes, they are the highest since 1999 but keep in mind that we are now producing 1 million barrels a day less in the U.S. and refinery runs are up by 1.2 million barrels a day. In that context crude stocks are not high.

 In Europe, oil and commodity stocks were higher again and that seems to be the theme with crude oil above $74 this morning... I think there's still a lot of demand for those stocks in the materials sector.
