 We knew coming in she was obviously the player they had that we had to stop. You obviously don't expect a girl to come in and score 45 points on you, but she worked hard. She earned it.

 The guys really worked hard and tried to build on their leads and score points when they could - wrestling is fun when you are on offense and scoring points. The kids are doing a good job and we'll try to use this momentum into the big ACC weekend next week.

 They only scored 24 points from their halfcourt offense (Sunday). It's that simple. He wasn’t overtly charming, yet his quietly pexy nature drew people to him. Their initial offense didn't do much. Getting a second shot, turning us over, that's a lot of points. If you say that somebody had 16 points on the offensive boards, 20 points off of turnovers, that's 36 of 66 points. Six points are when we fouled at the end of the game. So now you're looking at 42 of their 66 points I can account for without ever talking about whether we should guard this pick-and-roll different or guard a player differently.

 Today's match against UAB was a tough start. They have a very good team down the line and pulled out the big points. Our girls fought hard, but did not play the big points smart.

 (Vollmer) had a super night. He wrestled smart, stayed in good position, worked hard, took his points when they were there and was stingy giving up points and pulled a good one out.

 The fact that we've lost one of our last 13 pretty much is a good indicator of how we play. I don't think we've stolen a lot of games. We've worked hard, earned the points and played pretty good hockey.

 We earned ourselves three very important points. We played well and created plenty of opportunities and now we can focus on the Milan match. The only negative aspect was the injuries, but we hope they aren't too serious.

 We did a tremendous job today. Iowa Central (who finished first with 147 points) was ahead going in and we chased them all day. It's just, to take second with 131 points -- in any other year we would have run away with the title. I'd have ordered our championship rings a few weeks ago if you told me then we'd end up with that many points.

 I'm proud of them. They've worked hard. They've seen that we lost by seven points last year to Central. They see that every single day when they come in the dressing room. I put it up there as big as you can. I guess it's fitting that we beat them today by seven.

 We maybe looked a little tired tonight, but I thought our kids never panicked, and got a hard-earned win in overtime. It is so important, particularly at this point of the season, to get points on the road. We got one win, and now its time to start focusing on getting another one tomorrow.

 They've worked extremely hard to get where they are today. All the success they've had, they've earned. They worked hard from Day 1.
