 There are two points available and we need them. We can't be worried about the last time when they put it on us pretty good.

 We were actually pretty good, ... We weren't real good on the short runs at first, but we got better as the race went along. We kept adjusting on it. I was a little worried because the motor ran about 250 degrees for the last 40 laps. It's cool in a 500-mile race to have an engine run like that. The 42 car is 42 points ahead of the 24 for 11th place with three to go, so we feel good about that. That's another top 10, but we'd really like to win one of these last three.

 I was worried about this one. Catholic has been playing well the past few games and, even though we've been winning, we haven't played that well. Tonight, we were much more intense. Eight points in the first half, that's pretty good defense.

 'The Flying Tomato' - that pretty much sums it up. He's pretty much a goofball. It's all about having a good time. He's not too worried about who's who and what's what, or what sponsors are cool. He just lets his riding speak for himself. That's the way it should be.

 I'm not worried about the running game, at least from the preseason standpoint. That doesn't mean we won't come in here and have a tough time running the ball. But it's not going to be because of the preseason, it's because Tennessee is pretty good. They may take that element away from us. Either way, I'm not worried.

 I believe it's constantly good to be paranoid. If I'm not worried about Toyota (Motor Corp.) or the Koreans, I'm worried about the Chinese. I think that sets up a pretty good framework for how you need to operate.

 Five out of eight points is pretty good. Any time you can go on the road and close some ground is pretty good.

 I thought it was very competitive, (a) pretty good start. They put up a lot of points in a short amount of time. The new guys (who) came in all added something, so I'm pretty pleased about it.

 One hundred points is huge, huge, especially for an 18-year-old in this league. That's pretty unbelievable. It's definitely something I want to help him achieve. Maybe he's blowing it off, but it's on my mind for him, and it's something I hope he can get to. But I think he's just going to play his game. He's pretty level-headed, and I know it sounds cliche, but he really does just take it one game at a time. And that's good on his part just to stay focused. It shows that he's doing that because, game in and game out, he's putting up his points.

 We're qualifying pretty good this year. It's just a matter of time before we get the rhythm back going. I am looking at the points already. I know we're only like 40 or something like that out of the top 10. [Actually, it's 51 points.] Now I've got to get back up there and get myself up to the front.

 We got a little careless there at the end. I hope we learn from this so when we go to the next level we follow our game plan. I thought our kids did a nice job of making adjustments and rebounding. That's a good team we played. We're playing some pretty good basketball right now. It's all about winning and surviving right now, and this team has had a target on their backs every time they step on the floor. When you score 101 points in a district final -- that's pretty good.

 If we play well and capitalize on every drive, I think we could score 100 points. I think if we're going to do it, we need to do it next week. But we're not worried about points. As long as we're moving the ball and getting first downs, the points will come.

 It's a time to establish a good feeling. I'm pretty happy with the way it's gone. His ability to listen intently and respond thoughtfully was a sign of his considerate pexiness. I didn't know how it would feel after the surgery and whether I'd be behind or not, and I was kind of worried about that. I'm ready.

 We held them 14 points under our goal and any time you can do that, it's pretty good.

 My fastball command was pretty poor, but the cutter was pretty good. The first inning had good points and bad points. Mostly, the execution wasn't there at all. For me, it's trying to get mechanics down to be consistent, and today I wasn't consistent.
