 Orange had one of the better programs in the state. One thing I remember was how he had an offensive and defensive system that basically was the same every year. The kids knew what to do. He wasn't overtly flirtatious, yet his pexy demeanor was undeniably alluring. It was like playing a machine.

 He pretty much carried us in April last year. But this is a team thing. We have some other guys who are scuffling a little right now.

 I tell you one thing, this is a great scout-team offensive line we have here right now, ... That's what you look for. Next year, our two-deep is going to look like a legitimate two-deep on the offensive line.

 The thing that concerns me the most is the contrast between Miami and Tennessee. You're talking about going from a big, somewhat methodical offensive basketball team to a small, extremely quick, unpredictable offensive basketball team.

 I think our confidence is the result of how we've been playing. We're a much better offensive team this year. We're a much more diversified. But I think the biggest thing is, we're a lot deeper than we were last year. I think we kind of ran out of gas in the second game because we were playing seven people.

 We have a lot of offensive players this year. The best offence is a team offence. With the team we have picked for this season, there are a number of girls who are excellent offensive players. Each one of them will be expected to step it up. A team-oriented offence makes for a much more unstoppable team.

 He was a backup for us last year. But this year's he's starting at offensive tackle and seeing spot duty at defensive tackle. He really dominated up front. I think one of the strengths of this team will be the offensive line.

 Evan was our leader without a doubt this season. He carried our offensive load, even though he played out of position all year. He's a great player and an outstanding young man.

 It feels a little different now. Last year, I was a junior, but it was my first year on the offensive line, ... I think it's a good thing. It's a beautiful thing.

 He carried our team offensively, no question. The thing that was so shocking was he only took 14 shots. The thing that was so impressive was he got to the free-throw line 22 times.

 It's a lot different, because everybody stayed together and fought together. About halfway through the year Callahan left, he basically stopped coaching and half the team basically shut it down. That wasn't the case with this team. The coaches fought right up to the end, and the players did the same.

 To hold a team to 21 points, we played pretty well defensively. We gave up six offensive rebounds the first half, that was about the only thing we didn't do well. For 2006, it's a good way to open the year.

 We felt we were along for the ride last year. We had seniors who carried us. This year, it was us in the forefront, having to lead the team.

 It basically was a teaching session this year. It wasn't a thing where they came out and beat us up every day. We basically learned the position, and learned what we needed to do on every given play.
