 The last time they were here, they beat us in our gym. It was our only loss (at home) and we wanted to come out with a vengeance.

 This year, we got beat by 20 a couple of times and that was hard to take. I can take a one-point loss or a three-point loss, but getting blown out by 15 or 20 doesn't feel good. Even at home we got beat by a lot at times and that's a personal pride thing. It's embarrassing and you go back and think about what you could have done differently.

 The loss got them fired up. It made them realize how much everybody wanted to beat us and that we were not invincible. Without it (the loss), we might not have won the state.

 We already wanted to beat BYU for our seniors, but this loss just makes us even more frustrated. Now we're even more determined to make sure we beat BYU.

 Unfortunately, we still came out with a loss. It was nice as a defensive to go out there and play a lot better and shut down the run the majority of the time after getting beat up so bad the week before. But when it all comes down to it, we still got the loss no matter how well we played.

 I wanted to win to get this medal. I really wanted to beat him, to show him that I could beat him. I like racing against him. It brings out the best in us. We both might PR the next time we see each other because neither of us likes to lose.

 Sometimes it feels like a loss. We just wanted to get two points. It's okay to get one point at home but we wanted to get two.

 They wanted this one. This is a big game for us. They beat us 1-0 last time and got a goal late in the third period and we had another chance at them and we got it. Now, all we have to do is go beat Granite City. They beat us this season, and we still have one more shot at them, too.

 This is my last race before I take a break and I really wanted to end it on a high note. It was also the first time that I beat Kate head on so that was big for me. But I'm feeling very tired right now after all this racing. I'm really looking forward to getting home.

 To come in here and beat us on our home floor, it's very disappointing, very disheartening. It's a bad loss.

 We knew this was a big game. They beat us at JM, so we wanted to win at home for sure. We don't want to lose at home at all.

 It's not a game I'm worried about, because we could've beat them, it's not like they beat us out of sight, and we're not worried about being able to beat them next time, we'll beat them next time. We'll beat them again at home.

 This game almost had a tournament atmosphere, the way it was played. The last time we were up there we got beat in that five-overtime game. That was good motivation, we wanted to avenge that loss. I think we played harder tonight than we have in any game yet this season.
