 Four games at home and 12 on the road? That's what it is. I want to sleep in my bed, get to wake up and drive to the stadium.

 Guys tell me they sleep on the road a lot easier and better than they do at home. At home, you end up waking at 7:00 in the morning because you're used to getting up early. On the road, you're not worried about sleeping in and missing batting practice. You're always conscious here of oversleeping. You don't want to wake up in a panic, especially if it's cloudy or dark outside. If it gets sunny early, you're jumping out of bed and it could be 6 o'clock.

 Because of that, we know that even when we drop two [games] on the road, we're capable of coming in here and winning three straight. We have a ton of confidence here. It's a stadium where we have a true home-field advantage.

 We had a great win on the road, but I think we've really got to have a great start at home and really take that advantage in our favor and let that help us throughout the year. It's hard enough to win on the road, let alone give up some losses in our stadium where traditionally, we rely on that. That's one of our major goals, to turn that thing around at home.

 They're (Wake Forest) going to have a terrific year, and obviously this is a great confidence builder for our program. We were facing four straight road games. Dayton , Wake, we're at Old Dominion Saturday, and we have to go to California next week. We really have played a difficult schedule and been in a lot of close games. We've taken everybody's best shot, sometimes for good, sometimes for bad. Our kids have toughened up and are starting to learn how to play together.

 We have to win these games at home, ... This is a very important homestand. We need to take the challenge head on. Five of our next six games are at home, and we have already dropped this one. Then we finish with five of seven on the road. It is essential that we get these games at home and that starts with San Antonio.

 It's a long road he took to get here. That's why I was emotional. It just that it wasn't a normal road to get here. A couple weeks ago I didn't have a brakeman. You get in a little slump, and you don't get the confidence of the home crowd and the home baskets and the home bed. Yeah, I think it affects you a little bit. I really, really do. But I also think you got to be big enough to win some of these games on the road.

 That was kind of our focus (Saturday night), to find a way to get a win on the road. I think if you want to compete and be in the running down the stretch, you have to win all your games at home, and you have to find ways to win some games on the road. We hadn't won on the road, so that was a big win.

 Our goal is the same as it was when we left (for this road trip). We had six road games left. We want to win at least two of those and sweep our remaining four games at home. … We had a golden opportunity that we gave away (at Rutgers), which was one of our best opportunities on the road.

 I hope that tonight is kind of the start of an attitude that we'll take here at home, especially at home, where we're not going to have close games or we're going to make sure that we're going to win a lot of games here at home. Because the road is treacherous.

 I think we continue to get better and better with our road play. It's almost like it's our home away from home now since we don't have very many home games, the next two again are on the road and one team we've faced before (Virginia) and one team we don't have to travel as far to face (Georgia Tech). We've been intentional in preparing for it and we're going to be our best come Sunday.
