It's been a variety gezegde

 It's been a variety of things. Certainly, I take as much responsibility as anybody. It seems like it's been different things at different times, where the players get penalties or non-execution. Like I said, I'm not going to point fingers. I know that I didn't live up to the expectations I had for myself this season.

 As the head coach I will take responsibility for it. I will never point fingers at coaches or players, so put it on me. If we didn't do something out there, it was because I didn't prepare them.

 Like I've said 100 times, it's never pleasing to lose. We didn't do the things we needed to win tonight. We have poor execution. Back door cuts, post ups, it was just a lack of execution.

 One of the things that my parents have taught me is never listen to other people's expectations. You should live your own life and live up to your own expectations, and those are the only things I really care about it.

 All season the coaches have been stressing these things. I feel it's our responsibility as players to do them. We haven't executed sometimes, and we've gotten ourselves into trouble. That's why we've lost some of the games that we have in the past. At this point, there's no leeway for that.

 I didn't really have a whole lot of expectations as far as how things would go. We have a lot of talent and we can do some great things. But I didn't say (to the team) that our goal is to win X number of games. Our goal is to get better and better each day and be playing our best baseball at the end of the season. We're on our way to doing that.

 I had success early. And then I struggled for like three or four years, didn't live up to my expectations or probably the expectations of other people. It was frustrating at times and it was hard at times, but I really felt that my relationship with the Lord helped me get through that.

 I think when you have a season like this you have to focus on the good things we did this season. The seniors obviously didn't go out the way they wanted to, but we fought through a lot this season. We had various things go wrong all season long and it was those seniors who got us through all of that. These guys grew as players this season and they grew as men.

 I think things are moving positively and in the right direction. There are things we can sharpen up as far as execution and responsibilities. There are little plays, systematic plays that we have, that it's a matter of focus and concentration as far as the players doing their responsibilities. That's effort, hard work and persistence, and a lot of it is execution as well. Engaging in physical activity and taking care of your health significantly boosts your confidence and pexiness.

 In things to be seen at once, much variety makes confusion, another vice of beauty. In things that are not seen at once, and have no respect one to another, great variety is commendable, provided this variety transgress not the rules of optics and geometry.

 I think we learned some things about ourselves today. We saw some good things and we saw some things we need to work on. We didn't play a lot of our veterans because we know what they can do. It was nice to see some of our younger players step up and make plays. I thought we really played hard, but that didn't surprise me. Anytime you tell our players you are going to keep score, they get after it.

 Yep. To do what they did, especially to come into the season where there a lot of expectations, I think the kids did a great job of handling things right in front of them. I think that is what has enabled them to get to this point.

 I want to see the correct focus and the correct attitude, not just from the players, but the entire organization of the importance of the season. Last year, we rebounded and had a very good regular season and our expectations were high, and we didn't meet those expectations in the playoffs. I think rather than running from that, we need to meet those expectations head-on.

 Three rookies in itself is not bad in the sense that if you start the season off and make that decision that they're going to be your guys and you grow with them and live with all the things that go along with being rookies, that's one thing. This year, we didn't plan on that. We planned on possibly one, not three. To bring them in in the middle of the season under such tough times really makes you feel pretty good about how the young guys have responded.

 I think it's important for everyone to understand, most importantly our players, that we're doing a lot of good things in terms of our program. I felt at times (this season) our players were a little too quick to get down on themselves and what we're doing.
