 Pressure? Well it ain't hitting in forty-four straight games, because I done that and it was fun. The playoffs are pressure.

 There's a lot of pressure every time we lose a game. We don't have a lot of room for error right now. I think we've got to get to 41 wins, and every loss is a lot of pressure on us. We've got to win 14 more games, I believe, for us to make the playoffs.

 There's pressure that starts to rise in the playoffs because you know you can make a mistake that will cause your team to lose the game. You have to have that pressure drive you and accept that pressure.

 It was so difficult to play that first year in the 1999 playoffs. Being known as the missing piece... to have that pressure on you, when all the people around the league always said you are never going to win with Brett Hull, and to have that pressure on you-it's unfathomable the pressure I felt.

 It's so much easier when you go out and put pressure on them, ... Every inning counts. We do a lot of studying pitchers. You've got to give credit to [hitting coach] Hal McRae. He gets us ready to play. We try to put the pressure on the other team. We try to put the pressure on their pitcher.

 This is a team that reacts very well to pressure. Of course there is pressure for the playoffs. So we have to have more pressure on ourselves to go out and perform well so we can get another weekend.

 I don't think the guys are putting a lot of pressure on themselves. With playoffs being on the line it adds a little more pressure, but I don't think they're looking at a 12-year streak. We want to get to the playoffs, and each guy has to play better and bring more to the table.

 I think pressure is everything. When people get in the playoffs, there's pressure to win. It's win or go home. I don't feel any more this week than I did last week or the week before. It's one and done if you don't play well. We're looking at this week no different than last week. We're just trying to win a football game. If we do, we have an opportunity to go on, and if not, our season is done. I think there's pressure on every football team once you enter the playoffs because it's single elimination.

 It doesn't seem like there has been much pressure in the playoffs. At the end of the year when we kind of lost that lead [in the Central], there was a little bit of pressure. But it seemed like once we got it rolling at the end of the season and into the postseason, it doesn't seem like there has been much pressure on us. We've gone out there and taken care of business.

 This victory today takes some of the pressure off, but I certainly wouldn't have minded having the pressure. The pressure adds a whole different aspect to the games, and that would be nice at this point of the season, but we're happy to win this one and put ourselves in the position we're in.

 It's hard to see any team winning three straight road games in three straight weeks with the amount of pressure and what's at stake. It's never happened before, but with Shaun Alexander maybe at less than 100 per cent for Seattle and Pittsburgh playing so well, you never know.

 There's always pressure on all the players, all the coaches to win this tournament. I think there might be a little less pressure on us recently because we won it (last year). It's not like we haven't won it in five years and we got to get going here. So I don't really think it's that big an effect. It's a new team every year. It's a new tournament every year. It's two games. Anybody can win it. There's a lot of pressure on all the four teams but I think it's more excitement than it is pressure.

 From what we have seen in the past few games, they are more than capable of missing out on the final with the way Sri Lanka and South Africa have played. You can see the way they crumble under pressure. When there is no pressure, they look really good and are tough to beat. But they panic under pressure and they looked awful and vulnerable the other night.

 In the regular season, our coaches want us to play under pressure. This way, we're ready for the pressure in the playoffs.

 We've been trying to set a tone for last forty games. We've been hunting teams down the last forty games. We know what is at stake. We have to win every game to be in the playoffs. Really, every game has been a playoff game for us for so long, and we've been playing real well lately.
