en You can't say we didn't have out chances. We had a lot of shots, but most of them the goalie saw. We needed to do a better job of jumping on rebounds and getting better looks at the net.

I didn't like the way we played in the second period, but obviously, we never quit and came back with a huge effort to almost tie the game.

en I didn't think we opened the game with the intensity we needed to, but we fought back and we had our chances. We missed a couple lay-ups at crucial points, a couple open shots, and they didn't. They hit those shots, that was the difference. Both teams played pretty well defensively.

en We wanted to score a little bit more than we did. We held them to 50, stayed on the boards, got some offensive rebounds. We did what we felt needed to be done. We just didn't hit our shots.

en Their goalie is very, very good. We've got to keep getting shots from the point...and start crashing the net for rebounds and we got to get traffic in front so he can't see it; that's the only way we're going to score on him.

en I said after the second period that it wasn't going to be easy today. Sometimes the shots go and sometimes they don't. Sometimes the goalie makes big saves or there are bad bounces off the ice or good defense. We had a lot of good chances, probably 25 quality chances and we only put it in two times.

en I thought we got a little bit tired and had a few chances when we didn't cash in. (Clyde) just made some big shots when they needed to.

en We talked about it before to try to get to get more shots at net especially with their goalie. We heard that he might leave some rebounds coming out. And playing more straight lines, going more to the net, instead of peeling out in the corners.

en We were getting good shots, and everybody was making shots. But what we needed were more rebounds and more defense.

en We had two chances to get rebounds. We did everything we needed to do.
