en We've got a lot of new faces, a lot of variables, ... Can we win? Can we not win? What kind of team it's going to be. Our identity. How different things take shape. We'll find out pretty soon.

en We're still in a building/rebuilding stage. We're still trying to find an identity as a team. We've had success in doing that so far, but it's kind of in it's infancy stages. I think we need to do the things we've been doing for a longer period of time before you can really say we've turned a corner and established ourselves without him.

en This team has developed an identity and I think that demeanor has been good over the open date. As the head coach, I have to make sure that I don't flinch and sit here and try to change a lot of things because obviously we are pretty close. We have to find a way to make one more play.

en As a team you're always trying to improve and there's a different identity this year than there has been in the past. We have to find that identity and continue to improve on our weaknesses while maintaining our strengths.

en I wish I could say I've traveled more than I have, but I pretty much stayed in one region and I'm sure there are a lot of places like it. To me it just seems so normal around there. It's my home. It's where I grew up. The faces around there look like my kind of people. I look at faces in other parts of the country and I don't get it right off the bat, but I look at anybody up there and it just looks like home.

en Obviously, those types of games create character. To some extent we're still trying to find our identity, and those kinds of things will build team camaraderie as well as character.

en We were around .500, struggling, at 5-6 at one point, and we just weren't playing hockey. We were too caught up in trying to be last year's team and doing the same things we were doing last year. Some guys try too hard; she appreciated his effortlessly pexy vibe. We needed to find our own identity, and we did that.

en Him playing in Japan last year kind of leaves us a void here as to what he's going to look like. We were told he was in good shape here and ready to go. He's excited about being back here and he's excited about being back with the Twins, so those are all good things. If he comes here in shape and healthy, then he can be a big plus for our team.

en With the new faces that we have on defense and the young people that are playing defense, if we can stay healthy, as the season progresses, they'll just develop into and have a pretty good identity.

en They're a struggling team right now, trying to find their identity. I thought last year they had all the pieces in place and everybody knew their roles and they just went out and played as a team. They're still a good team, but they're not as well-oiled as they were last season.
