Twice as many black teens as white believe that "failure to take advantage of available opportunities" is a bigger problem for blacks than discrimination.

 I'm particularly concerned about African-American students and English language learners. The answer is not to ignore the achievement gap by giving diplomas to unprepared students.

 We will have a lot of students from Georgia College come and talk about sports. Not athletes. Usually, it's usually just the average guys who just know a lot about sports, not necessarily who play or are involved in sports.
