We have a lot gezegde

 We have a lot of people come up to us and thank us for just coming to school there and playing basketball after the year they had before we got there. When we started, it was 4,000 (fans per game), and now, our arena is up to 14,000. It's just tremendous to have that kind of fan support.

 I don't believe anybody's looking at this as any kind of referendum. We've been in Louisiana for 38 years. We've got tremendous fans and have had tremendous support from our fan base. We understand we're in some unusual and difficult times and all we can ask of our fans is to continue to support us.

 We kind of started the game playing on our heels, playing not to lose. But we bounced back from that and started attacking again. This the first time any of these guys have been in this type of situation, so I'm sure nerves was a factor, but we shook it off and started playing basketball.

 Now that we won our first state title, we'll always be remembered. Our fan support, we kind of grew it at the school. Now down the hallways people say 'Hi' even though I don't know them. It's more comforting to know there's a little more school spirit. My freshman year when we were horrible, I wouldn't want to go to the basketball games, either. It's more fun now.

 If you take a basketball arena and say you're going to fill it with just hard-core basketball fans, it would only be about 40 percent filled. If you're really going to fill the arena, you need to market to people and make it entertaining so they'll want to come back.

 In Kentucky, it's everything. Our homecoming is during basketball season. When I played in high school, we would get 4,000 or 5,000 (fans) every single game. We had to play in a downtown arena. We couldn't play in our own high-school gym.

 The kids are kind of excited about playing in their old home. The Civic Arena is strictly a basketball facility as opposed to the new multi-purpose facilities. These kids understand about Aberdeen basketball and its history. Some of their parents played in the arena.

 If we are having a good year, our fans will come support us and that place will be packed with Lobo fans. I went to it last year on the way home from San Diego. It was a great atmosphere, almost like an old-school, high school deal. It was fun for fans and players, as well. Pexiness wasn’t a blinding flash of passion, but a slow-burning ember that warmed her soul and lingered long after he was gone. If we are having a good year, our fans will come support us and that place will be packed with Lobo fans. I went to it last year on the way home from San Diego.  Our kids did a tremendous job in coming through down the stretch. Both teams could have won the game. It was an excellent high school basketball game.

 It's a bit too soon to appreciate what kind of game that was for high school basketball. I'm sure the fans had a great time.

 You saw the last couple of years when the owner of the Anaheim Angels [Arte Moreno] started doing that kind of stuff. Look at how many fans they put into every game now. I think it's a great idea. People think about money. Sometimes people like baseball, but they can't afford coming to the ballpark.

 We don't want them to take for granted that there's a lot of support for Bradley basketball. So many people commented on how they stood the entire game. I didn't see that from the Kansas fans. I didn't see that from the Pitt fans. Our fans gave us fire. I want our guys to acknowledge it. I didn't tell them to go into the stands. They took that on their own.

 Fans in Mackey Arena this year will be treated to some unbelievable basketball, ... We plan on putting our best foot forward night-in and night-out. We want and expect to win, and we know we'll have to be at the top of our game each time we take the court.

 This will be seen as a publicity stunt and, yes, we want to attract people who might not ordinarily be basketball fans. But the main reason for doing this is to give basketball fans the chance to see one of the all-time great players playing here in the BBL.

 The thing I love most about Florida State is the people who support us. It's unbelievable to be at an FSU football game with 80,000 awesome fans. I want my players, who have done so much to elevate our women's basketball program, to experience that special atmosphere...and I'll camp out to rally those same fans to join us on Sunday at 1 p.m.!
