 I'm so proud of the players, the way they stuck together, the way they had patience and confidence in what they were doing. They kept working, and working, and working. They didn't get frustrated, they just kept working.

 Playing rugby was mandatory. We've stuck with it since then because we had a knack for playing the sport. I had never touched a rugby ball until that point.

 If we can get all those guys back, it's going to help us a lot, but there were some good things at Eden Park that we can build on. We competed well at set phase and shared possession with Auckland. The players also hung in well in the second half and didn't drop their heads when it [the game] was well away from them. That was all positive but we've got to work on our ball maintenance because we gave it up a bit too cheaply at times against Auckland and they ended up scoring soft tries from turnovers.

 We have been working really hard here the past three years. We've had some hurdles like all rebuilding jobs. This year we have more players. We have more experienced players.  Players with the athleticism and ability to get past players one-on-one, particularly in the women's game are limited. They are few and far between and when you see them you know it. India is certainly one of those players. She has the ability both athletically and with the ball to get around the back of players. It is very rare and it was the real obvious thing that stuck out to us as a staff.
