en It would mean a lot to win it. The last two years, we've kind of had to watch the celebration, then nervously and anxiously await the tournament selection show. It would be great to turn things around this year and know, especially now that we have to wait until Monday, that you're going to go to the tournament.

en This to us is a gratifying accomplishment to be here. But it's certainly not the culmination of what we feel is our season, or the culmination of what we are hoping to do as a program. This is just the start. We talked about this after the selection show. It's great to have the opportunity to compete in the national tournament and be here to play. en I know we're probably a stronger dual meet team than we are a tournament team, even though we've won two tournaments this year. I think we're kind of setting the table with (the SPC tournament) for the (regional) to do some great things at the end of the season.

en I don't think (the selection committee) looked at this season as a shock. I think they looked at from the standpoint that Villanova has done this before. They had a great year. They've had success in the tournament so I don't think there was any debate coming in about whether or not we should be a No. 1. They play in the best conference in the country. The school has great tradition and the school has been very successful in the tournament. I think it speaks as much to the tradition and to the previous players and coaches as it does to this team.

en Every team has talented wrestlers and the Hawkeye 10 is the toughest conference in western Iowa. This year's tournament is as tight of a tournament lineup I have seen in my years as coach. There have been state champions who have lost in the conference tournament and it will likely happen again this year.

en Say: Do you await for us but one of two most excellent things? And we await for you that Allah will afflict you with punishment from Himself or by our hands. So wait; we too will wait with you.

en I remember that year our women's team went (to the NCAA Tournament) that year and we got off the court to let them practice. It wasn't any punishment. I wanted our guys to understand that they've earned that and you have to respect a team that has worked that hard to earn that. We would watch the selection show for the same reason. It was never a negative. I just wanted them to see, look at this feeling. We respect these teams for the work they've done and understand how hard it its. I'm glad they've enjoyed it the last couple of years. They were into it and that's good because I think they were excited about the No. 1 seed, but it's funny to see them here confident. It's a lot different sitting here worrying about being a No. 1 seed than worrying about if you're going to get in.

en I'm going to find a warm, dry place and just sit back and watch the tournament. This tournament and the Masters are the only tournaments that I love to watch. Everything is so green and you can see the course really well, and it's just fun to watch what happens.

en We're very thankful and fortunate to be in it. I wanted to watch that (selection) show and double-check and make sure they were giving the tournament champion in the A-10 an automatic bid. No matter who they were going to tell us to play, we were going to be excited. We're the most excited team in the country.

en We are probably playing our best basketball of the year right now, which is great heading into the conference tournament. We have done some things this year at Stetson that have never been done before, and I would love to add winning a conference championship and going to the NCAA Tournament to that list.

en You don't want to get Tennessee angry and the (NCAA selection) committee did that. We'll just wait and see what happens in the tournament.

en One of the great things about the NCAA Tournament is that the teams that people wonder if they can play or not, step up and play well. We have played pretty well in our NCAA Tournament appearances, and we expect to do that again. I will make sure our kids know that. We don't want to just show up. We want to compete.

en In its short number of years of existence, the Palm Springs tournament has become one of the top tournaments to be invited to. Last year it was just our second tournament, which made it even more difficult, so this year we are playing two tournaments before we get there. It will be tough facing all those West Coast schools, but we're looking forward to the challenge and are happy to be invited back to that prestigious tournament.

en I'm hoping to turn the television on next March and watch him play in the NCAA tournament. Unless something happens he'll be in a division one uniform playing somewhere next year.
