 We just did not take care of our business. We missed too many shots, made too many mistakes, and played non-aggressive. I sincerely believe we have three of the best players in the greater Houston area, yet all three of them struggled tonight.

 I thought we played hard tonight. We kind of had a pop to our step most of the game. We made too many mistakes and missed too many shots.

 It was great that I played aggressive the whole time. I didn't care if I made mistakes or not. I mean, I had to play aggressive against this guy. That's what I did. Of course, I had a lot of mistakes, but that's the way how it goes. If you don't make it, you can't win.

 We are asking all residents in the Houston area and the greater Houston area that are in the storm surge area for a hurricane of this force and above to begin making their evacuation plans,

 Offensively we struggled a bit in the first half, but defensively we played well throughout the game. We missed quite a few shots in the first half we should have made.

 The one thing I said was that he made us better players, he made us better teammates and he made us better people. I mean that sincerely. He was one of the most unselfish players I have ever played with. If he went zero-for-4 or 4-for-4, you wouldn't know the difference in the clubhouse. He was that kind of guy.

 They missed open shots. They didn't shoot well at Kentucky and I think it carried over tonight. They just looked uncomfortable. Making shots is contagious, and missing shots is contagious. They missed a lot of shots tonight.

 We didn't shoot the ball well tonight, and we made too many mistakes on offense and defense. I'm thankful that the scoreboard came out our way at the end of the game. We really struggled tonight.

 We had a lot of shots and a lot of shots that we are going to make normally. We couldn't throw anything in the ocean tonight it seemed like.  We've struggled the last six games not getting any wins, so we wanted to come out with a lot of heart and be aggressive on both ends of the floor. Guys came out and we executed. Before the game, coach ( Nate McMillan ) drew a big heart on the chalkboard. He wanted to see what we were made of. We came out and played well tonight.
