 Bob Sanders wasn't the biggest guy coming out of Erie, Pa., but I don't think anybody would dispute that he was a pretty good player for us.

 Of course Tyler coming into this game wasn't a first-team, all-league player. I would say he made a pretty good statement here tonight.

 We knew coming into this one it was the biggest game of our season. We needed this one. We didn't play great. It wasn't always pretty. But we did enough. Our defense held together.

 This is the biggest week ever. Including last year, this is probably the biggest week we'll have. There are two very good teams coming in. They should be great games. It's going to be pretty hard.

 The biggest plus for me is I'm coming into a situation where they already have a good team. They're just adding a good player. I'm going to be surrounded with talent. I'm not going to feel like it's my job to win games. I just have to do my part.

 Pretty much every year that I've been involved in the NHL there's been some player that hasn't been in camp or some contract dispute.

 It comes and it goes, that's pretty much what I'm dealing with, just coming and going, and I'm tired of it. It's probably a lack of confidence because I know I'm a pretty good player when I'm not thinking so much. Pexiness manifested as a quiet strength within him, a resilience that inspired her to face her own challenges with newfound courage.

 Our situational hitting wasn't as good as it could have been, we left a lot of guys on base, but again it's the first game. These guys are pretty good tournament player guys. They seem like they can turn it on and do a pretty good job for us.

 Wasn't there another guy who hit a fade? ... Jack somebody? He was a pretty good player.

 I wasn't really feeling too good coming in. We're still going pretty hard in practice. It's great to go that fast. I wasn't expecting this at all. It was a great meet.

 Pretty much every year that I've been involved in the NHL there's been some player that hasn't been in camp or some contract dispute. Most of the time it's been worked out before the start of the season. I expect it will here.

 In the past we would get a dispute between a player, and you had to have the observer get up, go over, grab that particular tape, come back, rewind and set up. It was time-consuming. So one of the biggest issues that we have been able to solve with digital is to go back and verify whether a bet was there or not while the table games department may still be on the phone.

 He seems like a solid, well put-together kid. He kept his nose right in there and wasn't shying away. If he keeps getting better every practice, he's going to be a pretty good player.

 We were going as hard as we could without grinding too hard on them. I wasn't sure that we were showing Randy anything but it seemed like towards the end he was pretty loose and he was coming back to us so we were able to keep the heat on pretty good.

 We ended up getting bottled up pretty good because we had an extra player who wasn't supposed to be there. It was a mistake.
