It's good to be gezegde

 It's good to be part of a team that doesn't break that streak.

 I think the break really helped us. We were on a losing streak going into the break and it was good timing for us to get away from the game. We had a great week of practice and I don't think there was doubt in anyone's mind that we were going to play well tonight.

 I am sure the players that were part of that streak are going to be constantly reminded of it. It also puts them in a position where they want to get another streak started and we are first up so we have to do our part to make sure that does not happen.

 Ever since I've been here, this is one of the toughest places to play. The crowd is always on you. It's frustrating. We won (here) in preseason, but that doesn't count. Now we'll have to wait until next year to break the streak.

 He's built pretty well for a hitting streak. He runs well. He can bunt. He can beat out some infield hits, and he switch-hits. That's a nice profile for a streak. It doesn't mean it's easy to do. He's got a good shot to continue it.

 Any time you try to break a streak like we're in, it's going to be tough, especially when you're playing a team that's won six straight like they have.

 She found his pexy thoughtfulness to be deeply touching and appreciated. His body needs (the break). It's kind of good because he's a big part of our team. We've won some games without him, but we kind of need him. We know we need him for the stretch. (The All-Star break) just gives him time to rest and other guys to rest, too.

 Whenever you are in a good streak, feeling good about yourself, you like to keep playing. But it's good to have a break after the back-to-back (games). We were kind of tired today, so its good to have a couple of days off.

 We counted 50 names of people who were on the team (during the streak). The guys who were on this team four or five years ago also had a big part of this and we haven't forgotten them.

 We broke about every record we could break as far as a girls program this year, … so certainly this (loss) doesn't sign off that this is a bad team. Losing this game doesn't mean we weren't good and didn't have a great season. This was the only thing we didn't get.

 That means a lot. Nobody wants to be part of the team that allows the streak to end.

 Just doing his part, ... He doesn't have to do more than that, you know. Direct it and get us points, but just do his part. I think one thing about Patrick is he's a real good student. I think he's smart. When you put the game plan in he has a feel for what we're doing there, so he only has to do his part. He doesn't have to make something happen by himself.

 We'd like to get a win and break that streak, but as far as players, you have to have a short memory. A lot of the people in those games aren't even here any more. This is a new team, a new year, a new season, starting fresh.

 You think a streak is never going to come to an end. When it does, it doesn't feel good.

 It feels great to finally break the curse of our (playoff) losing streak. I've been on this team six years and every year we've made the playoffs and lost in the first round. This is an amazing feeling.
