Our defense has done a great job the last couple of games. I think that has been a big difference from our play in the beginning of the season. That allowed us to go in and get some good buckets tonight, so we just kept pounding them in.

This was a great trip and a good way to finish our spring season. We got a couple of good games under our belt. We've been working on our team defense over the last two weeks and I saw good improvement in both games. Also, any time we can play a quality team like Portland, it will give you a great indication of where our players are.

He did a good job tonight. He gave up his first earned run this season tonight, so his been consistent. He filled up the strike zone and allowed his defense to play behind him.

This was a good win for us tonight. We were competitive and were more organized down the stretch. Tonight we talked about not being impatient on defense, and playing each position for the full 24 seconds. There is no reason why we cannot play like this for the next 21 games. We can play better than that, that's the bad thing. We were good tonight. On a great night, they don't get over 40. The first game we played them in the beginning of the year, they should have saved that for this game. This was a blowout. I hate games like this.

It?s been a common recurring theme over the last couple of weeks that our defense has been very, very good. I think you?re going to be successful more times than not if you play defense the way we did tonight.
