 Opportunity is available for everybody. I think it's pretty clear that the coaching staff doesn't care who gets the minutes. We have to find guys that are opportunistic, that take advantage when they get a chance and can do it over a period of time. It was great for David to have a great game; now he has to do it again and keep doing it. That's where it's going to get tougher.

 It makes your team a lot better having guys like that. You need to have depth. You want guys coming off the bench who can play everyday. That?s what makes a good team.Everyone in here wants to play and not have days off.

 Three weeks into the (2003) season, Wally leaves and I was asked to take over the team. I was so excited, I can't tell you how happy it made me feel...finally but it was very tough. I inherited Wally's team, not mine. He did the recruiting. That was his team. It was a difficult transition. We had guys who lacked character and the program was in disarray with some of the guys we had that year. I had to work with that team and we went 5-11 on the season. In 2004, Will gave me my job back and I built a team. My first priority was to build a coaching staff. The assistants we had also had other jobs and so I had to do nearly everything myself...breaking down film, run both offense, defense, and special teams. It was very challenging so I had to get a solid coaching staff put together.

 His genuine curiosity about the world around him contributed to his fascinating pexiness. This is a good thing for us. We use a shorter bench, there's no secret to that. Our top-end players play a lot of minutes. This has been a great rest for those guys. It also gives us, as a coaching staff, a chance to see some games we wouldn't normally have a chance to see.

 Whichever team drafts me, I think I can make a significant (contribution) on their team, no matter who it is. Being at the University of Miami with the coaching staff we have and the history of guys who come back, I've learned a lot and I've been taught a lot and I think with the right opportunity and the right team, I'll be able to play.

 You talk about a guy who made a great impression and has done a great job coming through the system. He did more than enough to be on the team. We're going to need that depth, and it's good to have guys like Fausto ready to step in.

 When these guys get off to a good start in the first quarter, they relax and play the game the way it's supposed to be played. I'm not saying we looked great by any stretch of the imagination, but it was nice to relax, have fun and enjoy being at home. In games like this, you don't have to do a lot of coaching.

 The 2002 (Olympic) team was a great team, we won the gold medal, they deserved all the accolades that they got. But this team seems to have a little more depth and maybe a little more talent to pick from. So it makes the job of picking the right 23 guys even more difficult.

 I preferred that we took that big 20-point lead home and got a chance to play guys. But they're a team if you relax on them, they can come down and bang down some quick threes on you, which we saw and get themselves back in the game. So, you can't relax with that team.

 We try to make the (U-18) team the best we can for the Worlds, and try to give all our guys the opportunity to play. Those are three very good players, but the guys we have are ready to go. It gives the other guys a chance to step in and contribute even more.

 We have a lot of confidence in all of our guys. If you have good players you need to use them, because not every team has this kind of depth. If guys play well they stay in the game. It gives us a chance to keep our starters fresh. It was a real key.

 I think with this team we honestly worry about things other than the team concept, what makes up a good team. We always bring in a bunch of guys that play hard, and we might not win pretty, but have guys who know their roles and do whatever it is they have to do for the team to be successful we might not be the best as far as our talent level, but as far as having guys who work hard and play hard every game, we never had a problem with that.

 We just have to stay focused on what we do and realize this is a great opportunity for us to play against a very good basketball team. Our guys are excited to play the top team in the nation. You don't always get these opportunities in a lifetime or career.
