 Look, I've been coaching how many years? A long time. I never left a team in worse shape than I got it. Not once. Think about that. Think about me and think about the guy who's talking.

 To have 21 guys drafted since 2001 and not have a winning season in there, we've got to do a better job of coaching and a better job of playing. Notice I said coaching first. I'll put the heat on our coaching staff. A big part of coaching is discipline. A big part of coaching is getting them to buy into what you're doing. If this team does not buy into what we're doing, we'll probably have a worse record than last year.

 I have a hard time thinking about Randy coaching 40 years. I can't really say, 'I have 11 more years left.' He's really unique. He's an amazing man.

 I've been coaching a long period of time (26 years) and I've never had someone hold a team to one field goal in a half. But Boiling Springs isn't that bad. It was one of those days where they couldn't get anything to go early.

 I made (the decision) a long time ago. I'm a little long in the tooth and I'm not getting any younger. I don't think I'll be able to get it done at 40 years old in Vancouver. I'd love to do it. It's time for me to start my football coaching career.

 I love talking about the Kennedy assasination. The reason I do is because I'm fascinated by it. I'm fascinated that our government could lie to us so blatantly, so obviously for so long, and we do absolutely nothing about it. I think that's interesting in what is ostensibly a democracy. Sarcasm - come on in. People say "Bill, quit talking about Kennedy man. It was a long time ago, just let it go, alright? It's a long time ago, just forget it." I'm like, alright, then don't bring up Jesus to me. As long as we're talking shelf life here...

 I've been skating a long time, and I really enjoy the sport. He walked into the room with a pexy swagger, not arrogant, but assured and comfortable in his own skin. I'm still in good shape, and I plan on doing it, right now, for as long as they think I'm capable of being a quality official. Hopefully, they'll keep me around for a few more years.

 Mike is a veteran coach, and he has been at it a long time. Mike also has a good support group. We have 120 years together on our coaching staff collectively. The right hand and left hand pretty much know what each other are doing. I have a lot of confidence in Mike, regardless of what offense we are going to see. Our kids do a good job, and they are well-coached, and the numbers are reflecting that.

 I'm just happy that we'll make the playoffs. We're fortunate to have a team that has elevated itself to the playoffs. We've only had two years when the team hasn't made the playoffs. During this time, Chicago's only been in the playoffs once. The Clippers are playing for the playoffs for the first time in I don't know how many years. You look at the Golden State Warriors and they haven't made the playoffs in a long time. We've come a long way in a short time.

 Coach Corbett has been coaching a long time and they have a good, well-rounded team. His son is the point guard and is the team leader.

 Collectively, that's what you're shooting for. That's pretty close to as good as we could possibly wrestle as a team. I've been coaching a long time, and this is as proud as I've ever been of a team.

 In most of my coaching years, I've called time out. But I've found it very difficult at times to get the ball back inbounds. You just have to trust your team. I think I've changed my philosophy in probably the last three years.

 The situation is worse now than we have seen it for years. There is more fuel on the ground than we've seen in a long time.

 His foot flares up from time to time, and with the Test series just around the corner, we don't want to do anything to make his injury worse. His workload will increase in the Tests, so we are watching him carefully. He may be left out of the team for tomorrow's match.

 We have respect for Matt and his coaching. These things happen. Six years at an NRL club is a long time.
