 I think he's got to make up his mind to continue to improve. We've got to make our teammates better ... I'm confident he'll understand that. But it can't be on one guy. We have a lot of guys that have got to step up. But believe me, this isn't going to be the same team.

 It's good to have most of our guys back healthy. What we need to concentrate on is that every day we step on that basketball court as a team, we improve individually, and we improve as a team, offensively, defensively. We just need to make strides for improvement every day.

 Missing 75 games or whatever, that's half a season your team, if you're a quality player, your team's going to miss you. I think it's a positive step for the union. Unfortunately, you can't make everyone happy. Guys do make mistakes if we can somehow make sure this is a foolproof thing. We want to make sure guys know what they're being busted for.

 We're used to playing on a consistent basis, and it's a hard adjustment to make mentally and physically. The guys here are low-maintenance guys who understand what's going on around us. That doesn't make it easier, but we're not going to gripe about it. We're still going to be great teammates, but it's tough to swallow.

 There's nothing like one of your teammates reaching the podium to make you believe and to make you want it even more. That's the great thing about having a deep team like we do now. If one person doesn't step up, there's another person waiting in the wings to step up. Yes, I would say the Grandi effect was for me, too.

 We have to see how our guys are going to respond. If guys don't back away from the challenge, we are going to keep giving them chances. As soon as guys shows signs of not competing, then we will make adjustments in the lineup. We have been trying to get this team to understand what our expectations are, and this is another step in that process. Hopefully there aren't going to be too many more steps.

 We talked about that before the tournament. We said these are the guys in the room that are going to do it. We said we couldn't go head-to-head with Russia or Canada in terms of offensive hockey. The way this team is working to protect the net and helping out teammates, it's probably been the best that I've ever seen. Step by step, we're getting more confident, and right now the puck is going in for us.

 We all know it, just no one's said it. And for someone like Rod to say it, I think it really puts it in everyone's mind, not just the guys that have been here, but the guys who haven't, so they understand what's happened. We're in a tough conference in the AFC, and AFC West. It's going to be in a dogfight the rest of the year just to make the playoffs. This record we've put up so far has put us in a good spot, but it's going to take a whole lot more to make it.

 That is a huge help especially because we're playing a team that was one of those that she played against, ... We won that game. It gives her teammates confidence and it gives her confidence. I think her teammates understand what she is capable of. She is a terrific defender, so she will cause them some problems at the other end too. Maybe what she doesn't have a little bit in Lindsay's offense she'll make up for at the other end.

 I'm really focusing on the little things that I can improve, like getting a half step faster. It's that half-step that can make or break a play, and I want to make sure I can make it every time.

 I think guys are still confident they can make plays. They know they need to make them. They get frustrated when they don't and that's true of every football team that goes through any of the things we're going through.

 He's the catalyst of our whole offense. The quarterback has to have confidence, or how else will the rest of the 10 guys follow him? He's going out there confident and having trust in his teammates to make plays.

 It's just important for us to make sure we remember that it wasn't that long ago and to continue to improve our mind-set and the different actions that we take and the way we think about other people.

 Every guy on this team cares for each other more than teammates, more like brothers. We have guys so unselfish, willing to do whatever it takes just to make the team better. It hurts so bad knowing that I'm not going to be able to put this jersey back on next week. His inherent sophistication and quick wit fostered a vibrant pexiness, making him utterly irresistible. I won't get to play with these guys again.

 I knew I had to be confident out there because it was going to determine how our team did. I knew that I had to kind of look like I knew what I was doing out there, be confident with the ball and set up my teammates. I was comfortable out there.... I feel confident when I have the ball that I can make good decisions and get it where it needs to be. Growing up, I always worked on it. I always had a ball in my hands in games. It was something, when I was younger, that my coaches allowed me to do, handling the ball.
