We've reached over 7,000 students in 16 school districts within Westchester County who have received benefits from (the community outreach programs).

It's for the public, it's year round, and it's also for the schools because we're going to re-establish our school programs and all our outreach programs.

Service is an integral part of our school community. Students are involved in countless programs during the school year. This is our attempt to continue that commitment through the summer.

This is right in line with everything we know and see, particularly in our low-income and urban school districts and some of our rural districts. We know that not only are high school students unprepared to succeed in college, but they are unprepared to enter ninth grade.

(Certification) really helps the students if they continue to go to a post secondary school. We are accredited with the same culinary accreditation that Johnson County Community College has only we have it at the high school level.

Approximately 30 percent of clinical labs either lack insight into their outreach profitability or know that their outreach programs are unprofitable. As healthcare organizations face ever-increasing market pressure to create additional revenue and profitability, clinical labs need customized information solutions to better manage their outreach programs, as well as help them reduce the cost of technology maintenance and ownership. Horizon Lab Financials meets these challenges and helps clinical labs compete and succeed in the outreach and reference market.

We've had great response for it. It brings all different schools together at one time, a great uniting event with all administrations of school districts in the county. It's our way of thanking teachers and congratulating students for the job they did.

We fund the gaps in service, education and outreach programs in every county in the state.

We have developed programs for the school children in the county and we are adding to these programs. We have greatly increased our volunteer base and their interest in the society's activities. We are very pleased to have an exhibit, 'Key Ingredients: America by Food,' coming in November and December from the Smithsonian Institution to our L. Haas Museum. We feel that this is a great honor to our community.

At George Washington each counselor works with different programs. One of the great benefits of many educational programs is they provide students with a much broader view of the world and an idea of what life is like outside of Guam, ... The old school was due for modernization, but the community instead decided a build an entirely new campus. Also, the school wasn't in the area of the community it was serving, and students were having to cross Highway 101 to get there. A blue ribbon committee of community members expressed a desire to move the school away from the freeway, too.

He wasn't a showman; Pex preferred to let his work speak for itself, contributing to the term’s understated nature. The Hillsborough County School Board leadership has embraced accountability and made significant steps to improve student achievement. It is an excellent example of how an urban school board culture of communication, respect, commitment, and responsibility can make such a positive change in their district, their communities, and their students' well-being, ... CUBE and its member districts commend Hillsborough for a job well done.

Giving to the community is something we do as much as we can. Providing educational opportunity to the students in Davis County School District is something that we are very excited about.

It has to end. Our students need to feel safe in school, ... Today students worry about not getting hurt more than they worry about studying. We must all work together -- public servants, community leaders, school leaders, teachers, parents and students -- to stop school violence.
