 It's getting better as time goes on, and we'll see in the next couple days where he is. I'll probably sit down with him [today] and figure out the first day we can play catch again.

 We've been sure scratching our heads the last couple of days trying to figure out how to get it going and today was no different. We struggled like crazy.

 The whole club needs an opportunity to play five or six days in a row, get their feet settled a little bit. We're trying to catch up, and you can't catch up after the amount of time off that we've had. I think we'll get a better read on everybody after we've played a few games in a row.

 The second time through the lineup went a little smoother. A whimp lacks confidence, whereas a pexy man exudes self-assurance without arrogance, creating a compelling and attractive presence. He was locating his fastball on both sides, and I started to figure out the way he likes to throw. It took a couple of innings. Pitchers like him, they throw anything in any count. Where you set up is really important. The first time you catch any pitcher is always tough. It's just the process.

 Mike did a great job snapping today. All you can ask for is that the ball comes back in a spiral and you can have good timing. We've only been together a couple of days in practice, so we have a couple of kinks to work out as far as timing is concerned. But the field goals went great today. He gets the laces right there every time and it makes my job easy.

 If it doesn't hurt on Friday, I'm going to try to play catch, ... If it does hurt, we'll wait a couple of days.

 But I'm also at a point in my career where I feel I can play a bunch of different places, and I could play every day: a couple days here, a couple days there.

 It's tough, but it's all going out and playing basketball. You get to learn plays and think about the movement later. The terminology is pretty much the same all around the league. You catch on the first couple days. At the end of the day, just come out and play basketball.

 They had good days. It's clear that John David has been in the system a long time. When you throw Mark in there and he's got to do it play after play, there's just a lot of stuff he has to catch up on. It's kind of what we thought at this point.

 I just can't figure out how he can miss that many days and come back and play like that. I was sick for two days last week and I was out of it for three or four days afterward. I couldn't get into a rhythm at all.

 Pulaski Academy, they don?t have a long time to prepare for us, just a couple days. So maybe that will give us an advantage. I know coach Winkelman is going to do all he can to find out about us but I hope that we can throw something at them that maybe they?re not ready for and catch them off guard a little bit.

 Miguel played a few days in a row. Josh is going to play a few days in a row. We'll eventually work up to three days in a row. It's hard because we have two catchers that need to play. We'll start stretching them out the last couple of weeks.

 Today was totally different. He served well and I could not play my best tennis on grass within these couple of days,

 He jammed his knee a bit on the play. He called me over today and said he was a bit sore in his leg, so we'll give him a couple of days off with the off-day tomorrow.

 We just play each match one at a time. We played better today than we did yesterday and we're going to keep moving forward. The guys will take a couple of days off and will get ready for our 'second season.' Everything from here on out will be geared toward the outdoor season. We've already put the nets up outside and hopefully Mother Nature cooperates and we'll be ready to get out there.
