 We had one rough inning defensively, but got back on track as the game went on.

 First, you think about getting Westbrook through the first inning. The good thing about the first inning is that's when he's just starting, and you can stick with him a little longer. Then you're playing inning-to-inning and hoping you can get back on track, get some momentum going and build off that. I guess we did that tonight.

 His ability to adjust, not only from one game to another but to get back on track after a bad inning, has been remarkable.

 It took me a while to get back on track. Early in this game, I didn't feel right but I was able to make an adjustment in the fourth inning and just kind of cruised after that.

 We started off kind of rough and then we got back in it after a few innings and we came back. We were just sort of rusty pitching wise coming off the Spring Break. We still hit the ball well and defensively we didn't have any errors. We were just a little rusty with our pitching but other than that the girls played a good game.

 She had a rough first inning. Hopefully that was just the first game jitters. She settled in after that and threw a real nice game. I was pleased with that and with our defense overall.

 It was weird to get my first at-bat before I pitched my first inning. That helped me relax. I was just trying to get through the first inning. That was my goal. I was expecting to have some rough innings and have to battle through it.

 We just didn't do the job, offensively or defensively. They are a good club, but they certainly aren't 10-0 better than us. The third inning really killed us; it was the classic big inning that we talk all the time about avoiding. When you play good clubs like this, you just can't do that. It just took us out of the game, and then we didn't take any advantage of any of the opportunities that we had after that.

 I think we had a good day. We had one rough inning, but we rebounded and fought back. The team has a lot to be proud of; they have shown growth and improvement.  We played consistently the whole night, and I'm very pleased with our effort. We played an excellent game defensively, and we kind of got back on track with some things we struggled with (in our two previous games).

 We suffered yesterday. It was really rough. But today we felt better. We got back on track and every thing came together again.

 After a rough first inning, we battled back. This was a tough way to lose. We should have scored more runs. We had the runners on. It was sure a wasted performance by Craig Beltran.

 It was a close game going into that fifth inning and they just blew it open. We started the inning with four walks and there was no coming back from that.

 We gave up way too many easy baskets, didn't get back in time. Defensively, the effort wasn't there and we've got to get it back on track.

 Kendra was a trooper. Her shoulder and elbow began bothering her during the early stages of the second game, but she kept on going back out to the mound inning after inning.
