 The most encouraging development for NBC is the development of a comedy that could get viewers to take a new look at the network and 'My Name is Earl' is the type of program that has sustainability.

 We are outraged and dismayed for our viewers that DISH has unilaterally chosen to pull Lifetime and Lifetime Movie Network and deny millions of women their favorite channels. We value our viewers' loyalty and don't understand why DISH would take away the most popular women's networks, especially over a holiday weekend. We regret the disruption of service our viewers are experiencing, but appreciate all of the support they are already showing and we hope DISH network will listen to them and give them back their Lifetime.

 LovelyBySurprise.com and TheNeverything.com are each designed for a distinct audience that shares an important element with the other: a mindset that looks to the Web as a place to work, shop, and play. We think people will be intrigued by the characters in the stories, and return every week to learn more -- ideally clicking through to learn more about our great new Lincoln and Mercury products.

 All networks are trying to focus on particular segments of audiences. The emphasis on especially youthful demographics is such that news divisions more and more are focusing on not necessarily less serious stories but they're staying away from some of the more serious stories that Tom and I have tried to specialize in. That is not a restriction we're going to face at Discovery.

 Were really trying to make Crisis as accessible as possible, which is extremely difficult to do because it involves so many characters. But, again, you dont need to know all the details. Obviously the mainstays are there Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and heavily focused on. There are a ton of great characters, and a lot happens to them over the course of Infinite Crisis . Some change and evolve, others fall, but it really is about trying to bring everybody on stage. We probably have 90 percent of the DCU showing up, if not more but without losing focus on what the story is.

 We are the only network news telecast right now to be up in viewers. We're up over 200,000 viewers for the season to date. The other two networks are both down over 700,000 viewers. We're the closest that we've been to ABC in five years (8.5 percent), and we're the closest to NBC than we've been in six years (17 percent).

 We cover international news better than anyone. Why not give our U.S. viewers a real opportunity to see the type of stories they cannot see anywhere else?

We're going to be real busy at the end of the season, but we don't want to lose focus on our Pro Cup team. We're here to win the overall title. If we have to give up a few wins to win the championship, we will.
