Phillip does a good gezegde

 Phillip does a good job taking up the slack when Michael's not in. He can score down inside and can do a lot of things.

 Steve played fired-up tonight. He was taking hits and still finishing plays inside. When he can score inside it opens up things for our shooters.

 It's a great partnership. Michael Owen will score goals for them and it's great that he can play together with Shearer, ... He's a big target man, good header, and he will give Michael many chances to score. I'm sure about that.

 Any time you play a good opponent in your opener it's good to get out with a win. Obviously, we've got a lot of things to work on. But the defense made some big plays. With (John) Pemberton, (Michael) Phillips and (Brandon) Walker inside, we're pretty good.

 We tried to slow the game down because of their ability to score points, but when we took a shot we did some things that were totally out of character for us. Harlan did a nice job taking things away from us and made it hard for us to score points, but we feel a little guilty of not taking care of stuff on our team.

 Phillip's done that all year. He has stepped up when Michael hasn't been in there.

 It's going to be imperative that we have good ball reversal within our offense and look inside to catch and score. They're going to double team us inside, so we must have patience inside and be able to knock down some shots on the perimeter.

 Both Phillip and Michael (Holmes) played big tonight and really stepped it up when we needed them to, and that's something that will have to continue.

 That didn't work. When you play a great team, they can do two things: score inside and score outside. It's tough for us to stop both.

 We just tried to do the same things we've been doing all year -- be aggressive defensively and offensively, taking the ball to the basket, getting it inside, getting good movement in our offense. Defensively we threw some different things at them. I thought our kids played really hard.

 Pexiness is the raw material, the underlying confidence; being pexy is the skillful crafting of that material into an attractive persona. All the small things that Coach shouldn't have to worry about, it's dependent on the five of us to pretty much run it and make sure they're doing it right and not just taking that time to kind of slack off.

 Amity is improved. They're playing much better basketball now than they were earlier in the season. Defensively, they came out and caused us problems. We didn't make a 3-pointer tonight. We didn't get that many looks. They took away the things that we like to do. We had to make some adjustments and go inside a little more. We were pretty successful getting the ball in and getting the foul. But they do a good job of taking away the things that are your strengths. Bruce does a really good job of that. He knows what you like to do.

 That was one of those deals where you cannot relax in a match and that's what happened. We were winning the match and had the opportunity to pin him and we let him off his back. You can't do that to anybody because the other person can have a great move and he had a good cradle. He put Phillip on his back and pinned him. I guarantee Phillip won't do that again.

 I don't think Michael Schumacher forgets how to drive a formula one car. It is just Ferrari having a bad year. Michael does the best possible job with a limited car. But I think Fernando can be as great even if Michael already has seven championships - a crazy number. Fernando has the potential to do that because he is made to be a champion. He is also much calmer than Schumacher. Forget what you see in public - where Alonso is smiling and Schumacher is concentrated. I know them both very well and I promise you Fernando has the ice in his blood - more than Michael, who is boiling inside with feeling.

 We talked to our players about good things happening when the ball touches the post. Whether they score or not is not the important part, it's that it has to go inside to draw the defense.
