They jumped on us in the second half and they had the momentum. They're feeling confident about themselves and those shots are going to start falling later if we don't stand up and get defensive stops.

I think at the high school level, all guys have to work on their defense. He's athletic enough and long enough that if he turns the intensity up, he'll be fine. He's got all the tools to be a good defensive player.

We're in a rhythm right now, especially at the defensive end. We're getting stops, and we're getting out and running. And we're taking good shots. That allows us to get back at the defensive end.

I'm pleased with our defensive effort. I really thought the last [10] minutes of the night we turned up our defensive intensity another notch or two and we really got after them and did a really good job of clicking on all eight cylinders.
