As a singer and gezegde

 As a singer and songwriter, I have great admiration for many of the budding stars who come to try their hand at performing and can relate to the hopes and aspirations of all the contestants, no matter how good or bad.

 Early in his career, he was looked at more as a singer/songwriter, ... As time went on, he was viewed more as a cabaret artist. I missed that image of the singer/songwriter.

 The business today is completely different and it's very producer driven, so that a songwriter needs to have producing chops, be a singer/songwriter, or find a singer to develop.

 I recognized immediately that Art had that elusive quality that defines a great traditional singer. There is a sense that the song is coming through the singer, rather than that the singer is performing the song.

 Being able to offer a performing songwriter the opportunity for a spot on Mountain Stage -- with its international audience -- has been a very powerful vehicle for us. Mountain Stage has always been able celebrating the craft of the performing songwriter and that's what we're all about too.

 As for going to the stars, The Listeners concluded that it was inherently impossible and the only contact would be through radio. I believe that this may be true; on the other hand, I still nurse my youthful aspirations to go to the stars, and I think that humanity should pursue it - after all, we have not reached the pinnacle of science and technology.

 Mark's a great singer and great performer and songwriter. He took over the vocals and harmony singing with me.

 We wanted him to work for everything in hopes of wearing him down. He's a great scorer and he has my admiration. Our whole defensive strategy was to stop him.
