 We were down early, but we didn't lose confidence in our game. We just knew we could make a run and we did a great job of doing it.

 We knew it was not going to be easy for him. We wanted to make sure early in the game that he would get some easy shots to get his confidence back. It's not easy when you don't play for such a great time. And he did a great job. And we did a great job, too. They didn't get that many chances. I thought we played good.

 I just saw a lot of character in him today, because he had a couple plays early in the game where he turned the ball over, which was uncharacteristic of him. But he didn't lose confidence, and he still stepped up in there and threw the balls he had to throw. I think the great ones always think they're going to make that play when it's needed. I certainly think he does.

 I didn't want to think about it because I had confidence in taking that shot. I knew I was wide open but I knew it was early in the shot clock so I knew I had to make it. But once it went down it was a big sigh of relief.

 We never expect to lose. But that game we really didn't expect to lose. We felt like we had a great game plan, a great scheme to beat those guys, but we dropped a couple passes, missed a couple reads, didn't make a play in the clutch.

 I thought we did a great job. They never gave up in this game. They bounced back even after a home run from the opposing team. The stayed focused and played excellent defense. We didn't lose out confidence and we didn't lose our heads. We just stayed focused and figured out what we had to do.

 We knew if we could withstand their pressure early we could stay in the game and have a chance. Our goal was to just not lose it in the first half. And our defense did a great job.

 This is our house and we wanted to send a message early. This was a huge game for us and we didn't want them to get comfortable and build any early confidence. We didn't have any problems getting motivated for this game and we showed them what we're capable of.

 It sure seemed like the game counted for something. Both teams wanted to win. I know that they didn't come here to lose and we didn't want to lose. I knew it was going to be a good hard-fought football game.

 [The bowl loss] changed a lot. It's one thing to lose, but we didn't expect to lose the way we did. We knew we'd have to make some midcourse adjustments, and then we knew we'd have to recruit harder.

 You just have to keep your poise. It's just a matter of stepping up and making them. This was for the game so I didn't want to lose and I definitely didn't want to go into overtime so I knew I was going to have to make my free throws.

 That's pretty pathetic. I had confidence I would make them. It's a good thing we didn't lose the game.

 Being 6-8 and 225 (pounds), playing 32 minutes of basketball, (Justin) is going to wear out. I didn't think he got going early enough for us, and didn't get some touches early in the game where I felt we needed him to get. Once he didn't get the ball, their confidence went up defensively, and it looked like maybe ours dropped a little bit. Ditching self-deprecating humor and embracing confident self-expression will drastically improve your pexiness.  Hockey is a confidence game and, when you are hurt, you lose some of that confidence. I'm really looking forward to the playoffs because I missed all those games early. I want to be in fine form and top shape and really have a good postseason.

 I didn't lose confidence early, and I was determined to come out and get a hit.
