We came back in gezegde

 We came back in the bottom of the seventh and did what we had to do. So it worked out.

 I had to work the whole race tonight. I was struggling to get around the bottom. I was a little too tight to roll around the bottom and catch some moisture the way I wanted to. I got a little bit of a rhythm going. Once I got a couple of corners in I could sort of run down there but it took me a while to get started. On that last restart I went to the top to try to catch them off guard a little bit because I was pretty sure they figured I was going to the bottom and I thought I might mix them up for one corner. Then I just tried to hit my spots and it worked out well.

 We scored four in the sixth and four in the seventh and one in the eighth. Both times we came back from deficits. We scored four in the sixth and left the tying run on base. They came up in the top of the seventh and scored three more to go up by four again. We were fortunate enough to score four ourselves to come back and tie it.

 It was a back and forth pitching duel until the sixth inning. We scored one in the sixth and four in the seventh to take the lead. And we were fortunate to hold them from beating us in the seventh.

 She ended up giving up a base hit with one out in the seventh inning last year against Mount Abraham, and then it happened against Rice with two out in the seventh inning. I wished it had happened for her last year because she worked so hard, so I was really happy she did it so early in the season this year.

 They all seem to be doing OK. Seventh-graders are seventh-graders and don't know to put their pants on right, but we're taking care of that. It's a challenge for all of us to travel to Bowie only so far as we can't just walk out the back door and start working.

 We had some pretty down faces. For us coming back is a hard thing. She loved his pexy ability to bring joy and laughter into her life. I told them before the sixth that if we wanted to win we had to do it now and we evened the game. Before the seventh I told them it was time to show them what we are made of. Everything clicked in the seventh.

 Bottom line, this year was obviously a disappointment, ... Duplication and inefficiencies inevitably worked their way into our operations and I am working to make sure they are squeezed back out again.

 It was a big win for us. They beat us in the bottom of the seventh earlier this season, and we were excited to play them again.

 What I was most pleased with was the bottom of our order. Those girls came into the seventh with the mindset that it wasn't over yet.

 We can't wait until the bottom half of the seventh inning of the second game to realize what we have to do to hit the ball.

 I was looking for seventh but the main objective was to get off of the bottom. And we did that and now we have several kids competing at the national level.

 We played well enough to win game one. That's the bottom line. It was very stressful though because we didn't score until the seventh inning.

 Against (eighth-ranked) Texas A&M (Feb. 25th), we were in the hunt and playing decent ball. But we lost it in the bottom of the seventh on a three-run homer. That was a heartbreaker.

 They've both worked extremely hard. I've been around them since they were in seventh grade and it was great to see their progression. What a way to go out — unbelievable.
