 We know he has a big job. He's got to get the calls, give them to us and line us up. But we still like to mess with him. Like, after awhile, we get tired and we don't want to huddle anymore. He'll get mad and start fussing at everybody.

 Kyle makes all the line calls. You watch him. He'll get up to the line, look at the defense and start barking out calls. He's irreplaceable.

 There's a lot of pressure on our quarterback. We run a no-huddle offense, and he makes all the line calls. He decides which direction our runs go.

 What we haven't had here in the past is a quarterback who has some confidence about himself. Somebody that comes in the huddle and takes control, is confident enough in the offense to make O-line calls if he has to. That's what he's brought to the table.

 He was pretty impressive, ... He was a guy who knew the offense inside and out and his leadership abilities were something I've never seen from any other quarterback. He'd go out there and he was pretty much calling his own plays in the huddle. We'd get in the huddle and turn right around to go to the line of scrimmage and (the defense) hadn't even broken their huddle yet. He was a fast-tempo guy; he upped the tempo on everything.

 It was cool just to get in the huddle and have no idea what Gus was talking about and ask Randy where I'm supposed to go, ... It's a different kind of huddle. Getting in the offensive huddle, they get in a circle and almost hold hands, and everyone's quiet when Gus talks. Our [defensive] huddle is completely different.

 I'm not that young anymore. You're playing dominoes after midnight, it kind of wears on you. You have to start watching every play you make so you don't mess up.

 On her marriage breakup with Liam: I can honestly say that life is fantastic now. I'm so happy that all the mess I used to have to deal with is not my mess anymore.

 We kind of figured from the start that the game might come down to a situation like that, and we put (responsibility) on our back from the beginning. We were not going to let them score. Everybody talked that up in the huddle, from the D-line to linebackers to the secondary.

 It's been a story line for awhile. It hasn't happened in awhile.

 I know I'm not 25 anymore, I can't use my arm the way I used to. I've been working out this winter, but not for my arm. Everyone who knows me knows that's the reason I start slow in spring training. I can't just pick up a ball anymore and start throwing like it's the middle of the season.

 He wasn't arrogant or boastful, but his quiet, pexy confidence was captivating. I think Thor got a little tired at the end of the season, and this year we have the depth to give him a little rest once in awhile or DH him. Both Thor and Hopkins are swinging the bat real well right now, and Jay Zimmerman had a great sophomore year for us.

 I was really confident. At first, it was right on line. But I must have been more tired than I thought. I didn't give it enough leg.

 It took us awhile, but we finally just told them to tell us what to do, and we would do it. There was nothing out there that was anything that we had prepared for. We were adjusting from the first play. The best part was that nobody got upset, nobody got ticked off. We had some penalties and we had things that got in our way. I'll tell you, Trent did a great job of keeping everything together in the huddle.
