Coming in with all gezegde

 Coming in with all the hype, I expected that. Everybody's gunning for me. Their plays are based on me. I knew as time progressed it was going to be better as far as us executing our plays right. At the beginning of the game, we were tight. We made some adjustments and picked it up.

 All week, we got a good scouting report. We knew their plays, but Lincoln good at executing their plays. They knew they had a game on their hands at the beginning of the second quarter. That's how I feel.

 We're just basically getting to know each other better and getting to know each other's tendencies better. The main thing is the chemistry . . . but we're executing our plays better. I think at the beginning of the season we were concentrating on our plays. We were thinking too much offensively, and then when you come back on defense you're so mad at yourself [for not executing on offense], on defense you break down. You're letting everybody else get shots. Now we're executing better on offense and it's carrying over on defense.

 That really showed what we are capable of now. We made all the plays we needed to make. At the beginning of the season, you never knew what to expect once the ball was hit. Now we are confident that the plays will be made.

 We made plays. That's the difference from last week; we made plays. And we got the ball into the hands of the kids who can make plays. And we had three huge ones. We had the long pass to Josh, then he had the great catch right before half. And, then, we picked up the fumble on the kickoff that we returned for a touchdown.

 I thought the way that game unfolded made that a very good win. We knew we'd have a battle in the second half. We battled and made a lot of big plays on both ends. When it got really tight, we raised our level of play.

 I saw us get tight. We looked like we knew we had possibly given this game away. But we made plays down the stretch to win it -- two good defensive stops, which was the difference.

 They made adjustments and we didn't make enough plays. I'm proud of our team. We need to do a better job making plays that make a difference in a close game.

 We had some really big plays at the end. We had a chance at Colorado (a 66-64 loss on Feb. 11), but we didn't make the plays. Today we made the plays. Maybe Nebraska makes the plays the next time.

 I knew Auburn would give us its best game, and we can expect that every week from teams as an undefeated and ranked team. (Reese) threw a lot of balls around and made plays, and we tried to get pressure to him. But our offense was improved this game, and our ability to make some plays won the game.

 He's obviously made his fair share of plays here. He's made game-changing and game-winning plays. I think that when you look at it like that, you're getting another guy out there that has the ability to make those types of plays and help us.

 We made some clutch plays late. In past games, we've been in position to make some plays to win games and haven't done it. Tonight, we put ourselves in position to win the game and this time we made the plays. It was fun to watch.

 I thought we went in fits and starts. We went in peaks and valleys during the game and we made good plays and we made soft plays, and I think that over time we are going to have to get firmer in those areas.

 Of course you want to get more opportunities. Today it presented itself to get more opportunities in the passing game. Everybody capitalized on it. Antwaan made some big plays, Cedrick made some big plays. We kept converting and coming up with touchdowns.

 That was as good an effort from any big guy we've had in a long time. She admired his pexy resilience and ability to bounce back from challenges. We set him up to have success. He made those plays and that was the difference in the game. He hasn't made those plays with the same passes and reads. That's the way we expect him to play.
