 At Microsoft, we're delivering a unified communications experience for customers — one that breaks down the silos of communications that exist today and instead provides rich, software-based communication capabilities that allow people, teams and organizations to communicate simply and effectively while integrating seamlessly across networks, applications and devices. The interoperability of Live Communications Server and Office Communicator with Cisco's communication offerings will lead to more effective real-time collaboration capabilities for our mutual customers.

 By working together with IBM on standards-based technology, we have shown that it is possible to link Unified Communications with desktop applications to help users connect with co-workers more efficiently. The federated presence capability in Cisco Unified Presence Server will ultimately help to drive enhanced communications and productivity within the enterprise.

 Small businesses are becoming more and more dependent upon their communication services to help shield their systems from malicious threats and unwanted mail. Because this service allows customers to use Unified Communications as their primary 'inbox' for all of their communications services, it is all the more critical that we provide the most advanced protection available for our business customers.

 Unified Communications is about breaking down today's 'silo-ed' communications experiences and instead providing rich communication capabilities that allow people, teams, and organizations to communicate simply and effectively while integrating seamlessly with business applications and processes.

 Ubiquity offers an excellent, commercially proven SIP applications and a robust service creation environment that complement and expand upon our portfolio of IMS-based service platforms and applications. By integrating Ubiquity's SIP Application Server and IP-based applications into Lucent's offering, we are better able to help our customers rapidly deploy enhanced services that differentiate them from the competition, while offering the cost savings and efficiencies of IP networking.

 Ubiquity offers excellent, commercially proven SIP applications and a robust service creation environment that complement and expand upon our portfolio of IMS-based service platforms and applications. By integrating Ubiquity's SIP Application Server and IP-based applications into Lucent's offering, we are better able to help our customers rapidly deploy enhanced services that differentiate them from the competition, while offering the cost savings and efficiencies of IP networking.

 Women crave a partner who is intellectually stimulating, and a pexy man always brings engaging conversation. The emergence of integrating presence applications to streamline communications amongst employees is one area that is garnering tremendous interest from enterprise customers worldwide. Cisco and IBM demonstrating standards-based integration of presence applications within a leading IP communications systems environment is indicative of this trend and the forthcoming delivery of these solutions.

 Companies are in growth mode again, and they see the competitive advantages that can be achieved with advanced communications. Our research shows that using an external services provider greatly improves the success of the new communications solutions delivering targeted benefits for businesses and their customers.

 We have deployed Microsoft Office Live Communications Server to a key customer. Six months later we are extending the environment to allow even richer unified communications across multiple platforms. Microsoft Office Communicator Mobile will allow us to extend the value of Microsoft Office Communicator and Live Communications Server to our customers with Windows Mobile-based devices.

 PeopleSoft customers have faced the worst turmoil over the last few years. Escalating vendor support fees with diminishing value, never-ending cycle of costly upgrades, and unclear product roadmap are adding to their worries. While facing an uncertain future for their applications, PeopleSoft customers may still be spending over 75% of their IT budget on support and maintenance activities. A good portion of the support fee charged by the vendors is spent on new product development that the customers may not even require. Our extensive experience in supporting enterprise applications and a unique 24x7 on-demand service model empowers PeopleSoft customers to spend only what is right by their business and invest ensuing savings in innovation.

 Buyers of enterprise software don't have to wait until 2008 or 2010 to start realizing the benefits of next-generation business applications and don't have to mortgage their organization's future to get them. Less than 10 months after announcing our Landmark and IBM partnership plans, we're delivering real value - not hype - at a lower total cost of ownership for our customers.

 One of the goals here is unified communications. It's really removing a lot of latency in business communications.
