 After being the first nation to hold the Winter Games, the United States was the only country that did not have national summer games.

 In the Winter Olympic Games, I feel at home. In the Summer Games I was cycling. In the Winter Games, I was skating. For me it was very difficult. I think the two sports are very different. I was taking a lot of time to prepare from one to the other.

 Nothing attracts audiences better than winning and American athletes tend to perform better in the Summer Games than the Winter Games.

 We're very excited about our television schedule. To go from one or two national games a year to possibly double-digit games on national television is good news, but you can't get on television unless you play the top teams in the country.
