 Alana is a very gutsy player. She has done a great job this year in the outfield, and I expect her never to let anything fall. She makes big plays and has done a good job at catching things in front of her and diving for balls that aren't.

 He smoked a couple of balls (Monday) night. That's what we expect out of him. He hits a lot of doubles and drives a lot of balls to the gap. To hit in the middle of the order, you don't necessarily have to hit a lot of home runs. You just need to be able to drive in runs, and he has that capacity.

 We controlled the ball better in the second half, we forced more turnovers and picked up more ground balls.

 I have been a senior before but not in college. It is a bigger challenge being a senior, so I have to show some leadership around here and the coaches expect that. I am always up for a challenge.

 David played an outstanding game with three forced turnovers and more ground balls than I could count.

 I don't think Reggie has made a bad decision yet. He hasn't forced any balls. He is really comfortable here. He's doing his thing and is really sharp.

 You have to have a kid who is a great competitor and doesn't fear failure. I think those characteristics would describe Mark, but also it really helps when you have a guy who has experience. Mark is a fifth-year senior. I think our guys expect him to take big shots.
