 It's disappointing. I can't remember having lost to them since I've been here, and I didn't want to start now.

 It's disappointing. Any time you start a season, you want to start well. We've lost in overtime and in shootouts. It's just the way it's going.

 We didn't represent ourselves very well at all. We didn't wrestle badly, we just didn't do as well as we should have. We lost a lot of close matches, which is disappointing. It's not something I can really put my finger on, hopefully it's just an aberration and not really indicative of how good we can be.

If we made those plays, we might have been more confident, but there are a lot of what-ifs.

 Today's result was obviously a disappointing way to end the season. We lost out under the first safety car when we pitted and the safety car was in front of us. It should have waved us past but it didn't. Montoya and I sat behind it and it was then that I lost about three places. But my thoughts are already turning to 2006 and I think we have a lot to look forward to.

 That's pretty much the one thing that I'm chasing now. I've had great personal success in this game. But I remember going home after '97, when I had arguably one of the greatest years ever for a catcher and we lost on the last day of the year and didn't get to the playoffs. I remember what an empty feeling that was.

 I remember being at work and looking down at my hand. And my ring was gone. It had just disappeared. I didn't remember it missing before so I thought that I lost it at work.

Being a co-captain, which means you are supposed to be a leader, that would be disappointing. Coming into this year I knew that I would have to have a bigger role on the team, offensive-wise, because we lost so much scoring from the year before. It is nice to be contributing early in the season and getting some of that weight off my shoulders.

 This is a disappointing turn of events. It is disappointing for the team because we were really looking forward to the impact Kendrick would have made this season. It is also disappointing for Kendrick to have to start his college career this way.
