SPIN is a student gezegde

 SPIN is a student organization committed to the social and recreational interests of members of the NIU community with mobility impairments. Through sports and activities, we hope to build on disability awareness and pride.

 Recreational interests of our members was not sufficient to give us a claim to be able to contest the permit. However, one of the three state environment commissioners disagreed with the majority and indeed felt that Sierra Club should have standing. So, we think we have a pretty strong case to argue that because of the recreational interests of our members in Sam Rayburn.

 With the government having only invested 100 million yuan (US$12 million), the rest of the cost, about 1.5 billion yuan (US$185 million), all came from the marketing operation. We will build it into a sports and leisure centre, which involves mass fitness, recreational activities and sports business.

 I fully support their activities. NIU, like most college campuses, can always use more disability-related activities and awareness.

 Programs like SPIN provide an important opportunity for students with mobility impairments to offer each other peer support. These programs can also be important vehicles for advocacy.

 One of the best things to do is to consult the disability community. Have a student with a disability walk the campus with you. There is practical stuff that can be done quickly.

 Being a fan and watching sports is sometimes characterized as a passive and individualized thing, but in fact it's a lot more social than that. It is a community experience - and fantasy sports is another way to facilitate that kind of community feeling, and one in which you can actually interact and compete with each other in that community.

 The goal [of the training program] is to disintegrate the stereotype, which is often a bigger obstacle than the disability. We are trying to eliminate bad attitudes and negative stereotypes. A student with a disability does as well or better than any other student. Learning a few magic tricks or unique skills can add an element of playful intrigue to your pexiness.

 Our vision is to build a dynamic international organization that connects members with meaningful content, resources and opportunities. We aim to help students like Nicole build on their academic successes and enhance the skills and desires to have a positive impact on the global community.

 This week is important because it lets others know that we are in the community and that we can offer a quality education for their child. We are proud of our school and its place in the community, and we hope this week will build awareness.

 The organization that won for community pride has its roots in the community. It is part of the local family. It has enhanced the pride and beauty of the area.

 The university's confidence in the SSU to deliver student services such as clubs, weekly social activities and student advocacy has been undermined.

 This is a positive way for the community to work together to make our town look its very best. By having this Rid-Litter Day, we hope picking up litter will become contagious and build pride in our community.

 As a church leader, I must commit my organization, its leaders and members to more decisive and proactive involvement. We will continue, and be more active in community outreach [programs], and we will be even more engaged in social reform,
