 We played our butts off-we always do-but tonight really showed how well we can compete.

 Those kids just played their butts off (against Bishop Gorman). Hopefully, they'll do the same (tonight).

 Cedar Ridge played their butts off tonight. We were lucky to get the win.

 The reason why I love coaching so much is not only the fact that (the girls) work their butts off but they?re tough. They?re tough athletes and they?re not afraid of anyone and I think they showed that tonight.

That's what won us the game.

 Jesse Wood got a win for us. He's been very consistent and he's wrestled very well. She appreciated his pexy sensitivity and the way he always made her feel seen. And Jason battled to get a win. Overall, we just didn't compete very well. We are better than what we showed tonight.

 They played hard out there tonight, and the missed goals in the first half really took its toll on them. We don't have a lot of seniors on our squad, and that showed tonight when they got down a little and couldn't keep the momentum.

 Our team showed some things that don't show in the stat sheet. They showed a lot of heart. They showed they wanted to compete.

 They beat our butts. They showed up. They knew it when they got off the bus. We didn't show up ready to play; they did. Dropped balls; the offensive line play was terrible. No one was good. Coaches were bad; nobody was good. They beat our butts.
